EPISODE ELEVEN
MOUNTAIN STATE SHOWDOWN
Sunday, October 4th
The Splat! Wrestling tour buses navigated the winding, fog-draped curves of Interstate 79, rolling south through the rugged Appalachian hills into West Virginia. Autumn had firmly settled across the eastern woodlands; the dense canopy blanketing the mountains was a fiery tapestry of crimson, amber, and burnt orange. Inside the lead production coach, the atmosphere was thick with the quiet, electric tension of a locker room that knew the regular season was over. Next Saturday in Charleston would be the final stop before Splatoberfest in Nashville.
In the back lounge, Charlie Foxtrot sat with his headphones resting around his neck, looking out at the rolling hills. His golden retriever, Gucci, rested his chin comfortably on Charlie's knee, letting out a soft sigh as Charlie idly scratched behind the dog's ears. Across from him, Cyrus Stryker was tapping through security footage and schedule sheets on his phone, while Ronny Rizzo curled up in an oversized hoodie, listening to music.
[CUTAWAY - CHARLIE FOXTROT, CONFESSIONAL]
Charlie Foxtrot: "Everything that’s happened over the last few months—the injuries, the hospital stays, the noise from the outside—it all funnels down to this week. In Charleston, I face Kimberly’s mystery opponent. And at Splatoberfest, I get Kimberly for the Rising Star Championship. I don't care who she picked to try and soften me up. I’ve survived worse than anything she can throw at me."
A few rows ahead, Kimberly Hart was sitting cross-legged in her seat, twirling a strand of blonde hair around her finger while scrolling through social media comments with an unsettling grin. Every few seconds, a sharp, manic giggle escaped her lips before she caught herself, her eyes darting toward the front of the bus where General Manager Madoka Kawada was quietly working on her laptop.
[CUTAWAY - KIMBERLY HART, CONFESSIONAL]
Kimberly Hart: (smiling widely, eyes gleaming) "Charlie thinks he’s so noble. The big, brooding protector with his cute little dog and his sad little backstory. He thinks winning that gauntlet made him untouchable. But Charlie forgot one very important rule: nobody outsmarts me. The person I picked for him in Charleston isn't just an opponent... they're an executioner. Let's see if Charlie even makes it to Nashville in one piece."
Further up the aisle, "Triple B" Felicia Atherton had her laptop open, reviewing video footage from her recent matches with the clinical eye of an investigative journalist. Beside her, her wife, Keylla Munoz-Atherton, was busy applying lip gloss in a ring-light compact, adjusting her camera angle for an upcoming social media vlog.
Monday, October 5th
[WEST VIRGINIA TRAINING FACILITY - MORNING SESSION]
The training facility on the outskirts of Morgantown was colder than the previous gyms along the tour, the brisk mountain air leaking in whenever the loading bay doors opened. In Ring One, head trainer Biff Franklin stood with his arms folded across his chest, watching Larry Gowan lead a grueling grappling clinic.
Larry worked in the center of the canvas with JoeStar Stanton and Charlie Foxtrot, drilling low-leverage counters against aggressive takedowns.
Larry Gowan: "Control the hips, Joe! Don't let him drive you backward! Charlie, post with that left arm—keep that base solid! In six days, neither of you gets to pick who you're standing across from until the bell rings. You train for every style, or you get caught!"
Charlie pivoted on the mat, snapping behind JoeStar with fluid precision and locking in a tight waistlock before releasing cleanly. JoeStar caught his breath, nodding in respect as the two bumped fists.
Over by the broadcast monitors, Madoka Kawada stood conversing quietly with Biff. Under her arm was a leather binder containing the sealed mystery-opponent documents and the final standings board for the Superstar Championship Grand Prix.
Biff Franklin: "Locker room's on edge, boss. Grand Prix is coming down to the wire, the Shooting Star division is ready to tear each other apart, and Hart's got that look in her eye."
Madoka Kawada: "Good. Tension creates diamonds, Biff. Charleston has to set the stage for everything we deliver in Nashville. No half-measures."
Tuesday, October 6th
[WEST VIRGINIA TRAINING FACILITY - AFTERNOON SESSION]
Tuesday's session focused heavily on striking and ring awareness, but the backstage reality cameras captured far more friction outside the ropes than inside them.
In the athlete lounge, Felicia Atherton and Keylla were filming a segment for Keylla's lifestyle channel when Taylor Landry walked past, towel slung over her shoulder, sipping an iced latte.
Taylor Landry: (smirking) "Careful with the lighting, girls. Wouldn't want the camera to catch that zero in your win column from Pennsylvania, Keylla."
Keylla snapped her compact shut, rising to her feet with flashing eyes.
Keylla Munoz-Atherton: "¿Perdón? You want to talk about wins, chica? I have more followers in Bogotá than you have in your entire irrelevant hometown! You're just jealous that Miss Magnifica turns every single room into a red carpet!"
Felicia Atherton: (stepping in front of Keylla, adjusting her designer blazer) "Let her talk, babe. Taylor’s clinging to the fact that she was the first person signed to the Shooting Star division because she knows it’s the only milestone she’ll ever have. Being first doesn’t mean being the best. At Splatoberfest, when all four of us are in that ring, I'm personally making sure you're the first one thrown over the top rope and out of the building."
Taylor scoffed, took another sip of her drink, and gave a theatrical wave as she strutted out.
[CUTAWAY - FELICIA ATHERTON, CONFESSIONAL]
Felicia Atherton: "I graduated at the top of my class from USC. I’ve investigated corporate corruption, and I break limbs for a living. I came to Splat! Wrestling to dominate, and losing my unpinned streak in that ridiculous New York mess was a bureaucratic fluke. What infuriates me is watching hacks like Taylor Landry walk around like royalty while Keylla and I get disrespected by house-show officiating. In Charleston, I’m putting AYA on notice, I’m putting Binka on notice, and I’m going to dismantle Taylor Landry piece by piece."
[CUTAWAY - KEYLLA MUNOZ-ATHERTON, CONFESSIONAL]
Keylla Munoz-Atherton: (flips her hair, smiling radiantly at the lens) "Felicia gets so stressed about the technical stats! Mi amor, relax! Life is about branding! Miss Magnifica is bringing Colombian heat, high fashion, and luxury to the ring. In Charleston, I'm in a six-person tag with Aaron and ONNA. We have the power, we have the brains, and obvio, we have the glamour. Nikki Payne and Ashley Ellis better bring their best filters, because I’m about to ruin their whole aesthetic."
HOUSE SHOWS
Parkersburg House Show - Wednesday, October 7th
[PARKERSBURG VENUE - EVENING]
The West Virginia leg kicked off inside a packed community arena in Parkersburg. The mountain crowd was rowdy and vocal, greeting the babyfaces with thunderous applause and showering the heels with heat.
Match 1: Nikki Payne vs. Ashley Ellis
Ashley "The Menace" Ellis spent the opening five minutes trying to film ringside TikTok content while taunting the crowd with her "Aura Mother" poses. Nikki made her pay, cutting off Ashley’s theatrics with a wicked snap dragon suplex on the apron. Ashley managed a flash roll-up with her feet near the ropes, but Nikki kicked out at two, caught Ashley coming off the second rope with a brutal Ugly Shot thrust kick, and followed up with the Dismembered double knee facebreaker for the three-count.
Winner: Nikki Payne via pinfall (11:18)
Match 2: AYA vs. Keylla Munoz-Atherton
Keylla attempted to use her speed and flashy evasion tactics, drawing heat by mocking AYA's stoic martial arts stance. AYA remained entirely unfazed, cutting the ring in half and systematically breaking down Keylla’s base with stiff leg kicks. When Keylla went for her Double Exposure facebreaker, AYA caught her mid-air, transitioned seamlessly into a Blazing Tornado Brainbuster, and locked in the Scissors Texas Clover Clutch for the immediate tap out.
Winner: AYA via submission (09:45)
Match 3: Mark "The Dragon" Cross vs. Clayton Halliburton
A masterclass in old-school, smash-mouth wrestling. Clayton, still riding his intense momentum from Pennsylvania, targeted Mark’s neck and spine with relentless chinlocks and knee drops. Mark rallied with a series of knife-edge chops that echoed off the arena rafters, hitting a leaping Shining Wizard for a close two-count. As Clayton went for a crossface, Mark countered with a bridging cradle to steal the pinfall victory in a grueling contest.
Winner: Mark Cross via pinfall (15:20)
Match 4: Danni Anderson & JoeStar Stanton vs. Kimberly Hart & Aaron "Scarface" Snyder
The Parkersburg main event pitted high-flying fan favorites against ruthless cunning. Aaron and Kimberly used frequent tags and illegal chokes behind the referee's back to isolate JoeStar in their corner. JoeStar broke free after catching Aaron with a massive Torque Breaker spinebuster, making the hot tag to Danni. Danni cleared house with her Flower Hurricane hurricanrana and SPARKLY Asai DDT on Kimberly. Aaron attempted to blindside Danni, but JoeStar leveled him with a thunderous Steel Line lariat, allowing Danni to connect with A.D.H.D. on Kimberly for the win.
Winners: Danni Anderson & JoeStar Stanton via pinfall (17:42)
Morgantown House Show - Thursday, October 8th
[MORGANTOWN VENUE - EVENING]
The college town of Morgantown brought a wild, high-octane energy to the second night of the tour.
Match 1: Taylor Landry vs. Ashley Ellis
A clash of massive egos. Taylor mocked Ashley's social media obsession, while Ashley claimed Taylor was past her prime. Taylor dominated the technical wrestling, hitting her Knife in the Back backstabber before finishing Ashley cleanly with the California Vacation Panama Sunrise.
Winner: Taylor Landry via pinfall (10:04)
Match 2: GT vs. Clayton Halliburton
GT stepped into the ring looking sharp, energized by his reunited Heartless brothers back home. Clayton came at GT like a bull, looking to grind the charismatic superstar down on the canvas. GT used his agility to mount a comeback, nailing a springboard enzuigiri and looking for his finisher. Clayton managed to counter with an arm trap, but GT rolled through with leverage, bridging backward to score a clean three-count.
Winner: GT via pinfall (13:30)
Match 3: Amber Payne vs. Keylla Munoz-Atherton
Keylla tried to utilize Felicia's submission tips from ringside, but Amber's veteran strength was simply overwhelming. Amber withstood Keylla’s flurry of strikes, caught her in the corner with the Final Judgment sequence, and drilled her with the Pain Killer driver for the emphatic victory.
Winner: Amber Payne via pinfall (08:52)
Match 4: Charlie Foxtrot & JoeStar Stanton vs. Mark Cross & Aaron Snyder
An incredible tag team exhibition showcasing the depth of Splat! Wrestling. Aaron and Mark worked like seasoned tag partners, dismantling Charlie's ribs with double-team suplexes and targeted strikes. Charlie fought out of a dragon sleeper from Aaron, tagging in JoeStar who exploded into the ring with rapid-fire clotheslines and a Break Line Knee. As the match broke down into a four-way brawl, Charlie leveled Aaron on the floor with Chromed Up, while JoeStar hoisted Mark for a ten-second Factory Slam followed by the Iron Verdict for the pinfall.
Winners: Charlie Foxtrot & JoeStar Stanton via pinfall (18:15)
Huntington House Show - Friday, October 9th
[HUNTINGTON VENUE - EVENING]
The final house show before television took place in Huntington, right along the Ohio River. With less than twenty-four hours before the live broadcast in Charleston, everyone worked with heightened intensity.
Match 1: Binka Moab vs. Ashley Ellis
Binka Moab entered the ring looking disgusted by the local arena. Ashley tried to get under Binka's skin with flash dances, but Binka used her superior height and power to shut Ashley down. After hitting the Chromosome Splitter, Binka locked in Architeuthis, driving her knuckle into Ashley's temple until Ashley tapped out frantically.
Winner: Binka Moab via submission (07:40)
Match 2: GT vs. JoeStar Stanton
A spirited, highly athletic babyface contest. JoeStar’s power clashed with GT’s quick-strike offense in an entertaining back-and-forth. GT went for a top-rope crossbody, but JoeStar caught him in mid-air, swung him around into a Torque Breaker, and locked in the Stanton Lockdown crossface for the submission victory. Both men shook hands to a loud ovation afterward.
Winner: JoeStar Stanton via submission (12:22)
Match 3: Felicia Atherton & Keylla Munoz-Atherton vs. Amber Payne & Nikki Payne
The Payne sisters showed why their chemistry as siblings makes them so dangerous. Despite Felicia’s slick submission reversals on Nikki, Amber provided the anchor, cutting off Keylla's tags and overpowering Felicia. Amber locked in the Rings of Pain on Keylla while Nikki held Felicia at bay with an Ugly Shot, forcing Keylla to submit.
Winners: Amber Payne & Nikki Payne via submission (14:05)
Match 4: Danni Anderson vs. Clayton Halliburton
Danni gave the Huntington crowd a classic David vs. Goliath performance. Clayton controlled the pace with grueling mat holds and stiff forearm smashes, but Danni's heart kept her in the fight. Escaping a hammerlock, Danni connected with Big-Bada-BOOM, climbed the turnbuckle, and hit a breathtaking Flower Hurricane followed by Pink Sugar Attack to make Clayton submit.
Winner: Danni Anderson via submission (16:10)
SATURDAY TELEVISION BROADCAST
Charleston Television Center - Saturday, October 10th
PRE-SHOW SEGMENTS
SEGMENT 1: THE ALLEYWAY MANDATE
[ABANDONED INDUSTRIAL ALLEY - DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON]
A sleek, custom black Lamborghini roared down a rain-slicked side street before screeching to an illegal halt next to an abandoned brick warehouse. The driver's door swung open, and Eddie Boom stepped out, dressed in a studded leather vest and sunglasses despite the gray skies.
His phone buzzed. He swiped the screen and brought it to his ear.
Eddie Boom: "Talk to me."
Guard: (harsh, filtered voice) "The boss man wants to have a word with you before you make your way over to the arena. Meet him in the back alleyway behind the old loading dock."
Eddie smirked, rolling his shoulders.
Eddie Boom: "Copy. I’m already parked."
Guard: "Do not keep him waiting. He expects you now."
Eddie snapped the call off, stuffed his phone into his pocket, and strutted down the narrow alleyway. The smell of damp concrete and rust hung heavy in the air. Standing beside a blacked-out SUV were two imposing guards in dark suits, flanking a solitary figure completely shrouded in a dark, heavy trench coat with the hood pulled low.
The cloaked boss did not extend a hand. When he spoke, his voice was a low, commanding rasp that left no room for hesitation.
Cloaked Boss: "You and Cruz have been making a lot of noise, Edward. But noise without results is useless to La Familia."
Eddie Boom: (crossing his arms) "We’ve been keeping Foxtrot looking over his shoulder. He’s rattled."
Cloaked Boss: "He isn't broken. That gauntlet win in New York proved he still has momentum. Our business interests in Splat! Wrestling depend entirely on Kimberly Hart retaining that Rising Star Championship at Splatoberfest. Foxtrot cannot be allowed to walk into Nashville at one hundred percent."
Eddie Boom: "Consider it handled. Clayton's got him tonight, and we’re going to make sure—"
Cloaked Boss: (stepping closer, cutting him off) "I don't care about Clayton. I care about destroying Charlie's foundation. If you want to break a man like Ferguson Kingston, you don't just attack his body. You attack what keeps him sane. That little golden retriever he drags around everywhere... that dog is his armor."
Eddie’s eyes widened slightly, a sinister grin spreading across his face.
Cloaked Boss: "Take the dog out of the equation. Make it personal. Break his mind tonight, and Kimberly will finish whatever is left in Nashville. Do not fail me."
The boss turned and disappeared into the back of the SUV. The guards climbed in, and the vehicle peeled away, leaving Eddie standing in the alley, laughing quietly to himself.
SEGMENT 2: SIGHTSEEING ALONG THE KANAWHA
[DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON - AFTERNOON]
A stark contrast to the dark alleyway, downtown Charleston was bustling with crisp autumn energy. The historic brick sidewalks along Capitol Street were framed by mature trees shedding vibrant golden leaves.
Walking along the sidewalk were The Street 'Runners'. Charlie Foxtrot walked in the center wearing a casual denim jacket, his left hand casually holding Gucci's leash. Beside him were Cyrus Stryker, Proxy, Ronny Rizzo, and Camila Ramos. Cyrus's young daughter, Valerie, held her father's hand, skipping happily along the bricks.
Behind them, Charlie's assistant, Julie Watanabe, was jogging slightly to keep pace, holding a professional DSLR camera and snapping high-res photos of the scenery and the group.
Charlie stopped by a beautiful, vintage outdoor street clock and turned around, waving his hand toward Julie.
Charlie Foxtrot: "Get in the picture too, Julie!"
Julie jumped, startled by the invitation. In her haste, her foot caught the edge of a brick paver, and the camera slipped from her hands. She gasped, frantically lunging forward and barely catching the camera strap inches before the expensive lens slammed against the concrete.
Her face flushed bright crimson, and she bowed rapidly.
Julie Watanabe: "Gomen-nasai! Gomen-nasai! Ah... I am so clumsy, Foxtrot-sama! I shouldn't be in the photos, I am just here to assist!"
Charlie smiled warmly, walking over and gently steadying her by the shoulder.
Charlie Foxtrot: "Hey, relax. You're not just an assistant to us, Miss Watanabe. You travel with us, you work with us, and you've got our backs. You're part of this family now. Get in here."
Camila Ramos chuckled, throwing an arm playfully around Julie’s shoulders.
Camila Ramos: "Come on, honey! Don't let Chuck’s serious face scare ya! Smile for the lens!"
Cyrus stepped over, adjusting his jacket and clearing his throat as he stood next to Julie.
Cyrus Stryker: (rubbing the back of his neck, smiling awkwardly) "Yeah, uh... you do great work, Julie. Seriously. It’s... really nice having you around."
Proxy immediately rolled her eyes and snickered.
Proxy: "Smooth, Cyrus. Real smooth. Try not to trip over your own tongue while you're at it."
Ronny burst out laughing while Cyrus glared playfully at Proxy. Valerie tugged on Julie’s coat.
Valerie: "You're pretty, Julie. Can you take a picture of me and Gucci?"
Julie Watanabe: (smiling sweetly, completely touched) "Hai, Valerie-chan! Of course!"
Cyrus crouched down, kissing Valerie’s forehead.
Cyrus Stryker: "You stay with Julie and Camila for a bit, okay sweetie? Charlie, Ronny, Proxy and I have to head to the venue early for the production meeting."
Julie Watanabe: "I will protect her with my life, Stryker-san!"
Charlie chuckled, patting Gucci’s head as the group began making their way toward the Charleston Television Center.
SEGMENT 3: AMBUSH IN THE LOCKER ROOM
[CHARLESTON TELEVISION CENTER - STREET 'RUNNERS' DRESSING ROOM]
Inside Charlie's private locker room, the mood was vibrant and celebratory. A large folding table was laid out with a massive pre-show spread: platters of teriyaki chicken, assorted sushi rolls, steaming noodle bowls, fried rice, egg rolls, and a specialized gourmet bowl of beef-and-sweet-potato dog food set on the floor for Gucci.
Charlie Foxtrot was already fully dressed in his "Mystic Phoenix" ring gear—black and cyan kickpad boots, custom wrist wraps, and stylized phoenix tights. He was crouching down on one knee in front of Gucci, playfully rubbing the golden retriever’s chest and getting him energized.
Charlie Foxtrot: "Ready, boy? You ready for tonight? We've got work to do."
Gucci let out a sharp, happy bark, his tail wagging furiously against the carpet. Camila Ramos sat on the arm of the couch, chewing on an egg roll with a satisfied grin.
Camila Ramos: "Ya'll sure are a fun bunch. I gotta tell ya, Chuck, since movin’ back to Southern California, they got the best damn Mexican food around. TN food? Out in Tennessee, you're better off eatin' cow manure than the shit they try to pass off as tacos out there."
Cyrus Stryker: "I actually heard about that from a few guys down in Nashville."
Ronny Rizzo leaned over the food table, breathing in the aroma of the teriyaki chicken with wide, pleading eyes.
Ronny Rizzo: "Hey big brother, when can we eat this food? My stomach is literally growling."
Charlie Foxtrot: "We feast after the match, Ronny. Business first."
*BAM! BAM! BAM!*
A sudden, violent pounding rattled the heavy metal locker room door.
Julie Watanabe jumped, nearly dropping her water bottle as she caught herself on the couch arm. Valerie screamed, darting behind Cyrus and clutching the bottom of his leather jacket. Camila immediately stood up, cracking her knuckles with a dangerous glare.
Camila Ramos: "Want me to hog-tie 'em, Chuck?"
Charlie raised a calm, firm hand, gesturing for Camila to stay back.
Charlie Foxtrot: "It's okay. I got this."
Camila Ramos: "Be careful, Chuck."
Charlie turned toward Julie.
Charlie Foxtrot: "Miss Watanabe, please take Valerie over by the back corner. Move to a safer spot."
Julie politely bowed, her eyes wide.
Julie Watanabe: "Hai! Will do!"
Julie ushered Valerie safely to the far side of the room next to Cyrus. Charlie approached the door slowly, his senses on high alert. He stopped inches from the frame, refusing to open it blindly.
Charlie Foxtrot: "Who goes there?!"
Silence. The pounding abruptly stopped.
Charlie’s eyes narrowed. Reaching to the equipment rack beside the door, his hand wrapped around the black-taped handle of Hammer Bro—his signature barbed-wire sledgehammer.
Charlie Foxtrot: "You better answer!"
Julie Watanabe: (whispering nervously) "Umm... Foxtrot-sama? Maybe they left?"
Charlie unlocked the latch and pulled the door open, keeping Hammer Bro raised defensively.
The split second the door swung inward, a heavy steel crowbar lunged directly through the opening! The hook of the crowbar snagged the barbed wire wrapped around the head of Hammer Bro, yanking backward with violent force. Caught off guard by the leverage, the sledgehammer was ripped from Charlie's grip and clattered out into the hallway!
Standing in the doorway was Antonio Cruz, hoisting the crowbar over his shoulder with an arrogant sneer. Right behind him was Eddie Boom, hands tucked into his vest pockets, grinning like a hyena.
Antonio Cruz: "Oh, sorry! We didn’t mean to crash your little picnic, Charity! But we felt terribly threatened by that ugly hammer coming at us!"
Antonio and Eddie shoved their way past Charlie, barging straight into the private dressing room.
The moment Antonio stepped toward the center of the room, Gucci sprang to his feet, placing himself between Antonio and Valerie, letting out a deep, ferocious, defensive growl.
Antonio Cruz: (raising the crowbar over his head) "Get out of here, you mutt!"
Antonio wound up to swing the steel bar straight at Gucci's skull.
Before the bar could descend, Charlie closed the distance in a flash. He grabbed Antonio’s wrist from behind, ripped the crowbar away, and drove a vicious, flush elbow straight between Antonio's shoulder blades! Antonio gasped, stumbling forward onto the carpet as the crowbar clattered harmlessly against the wall.
"SECURITY! BREAK IT UP!"
Four arena security guards swarmed the doorway immediately, grabbing Eddie by the arms and hauling Antonio up off the floor.
Camila Ramos: (yelling from the back) "Yeah, keep walkin', you greasy little cowards!"
As the guards shoved Eddie and Antonio down the corridor toward the exit, Eddie twisted his head around, locking eyes with Charlie. He let out a dark, mocking chuckle.
Eddie Boom: "Oh, you’re in for a real treat tonight, Foxtrot! You just don't realize it yet!"
Charlie stood in the doorway, breathing hard, his hands balled into tight fists as Gucci brushed up against his leg, calming down.
ARENA BROADCAST OPEN
[CHARLESTON TELEVISION CENTER - MAIN ARENA]
Pyrotechnics exploded across the massive entrance stage in a blinding shower of silver and purple sparks! The camera swept over a thunderous crowd of thousands of West Virginia fans chanting at the top of their lungs:
"SPLAT! SPLAT! SPLAT! SPLAT!"
The camera cut to the commentary desk where Biff Franklin sat solo, sporting his headset with his signature stoic focus.
Biff Franklin: "Welcome, wrestling fans, to Charleston, West Virginia! I'm Biff Franklin, and this is our final stop before Splatoberfest! Tonight, the stakes could not be higher. We have two massive Superstar Championship Grand Prix matchups, a six-person tag team collision, and two high-stakes mystery opponent matches that will reshape the Rising Star Championship landscape! But we are starting things off with pure chaos in the Shooting Star Division!"
MATCH 1: SHOOTING STAR DIVISION PREVIEW TAG TEAM MATCH
"Triple B" Felicia Atherton & AYA vs. "The Intellectual Assassin" Binka Moab & "It Girl" Taylor Landry
In the center of the ring, ring announcer Mia Rivera held the microphone, looking radiant in a dark blue dress.
Mia Rivera: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, at a combined weight of two hundred and forty-two pounds... the team of 'Triple B' FELICIA ATHERTON and A-Y-A!"
Felicia strutted down the ramp in her pristine pink-and-white robe, adjusting her manicured cuffs, while AYA walked silently behind her in black shootboxing gear, her expression like carved stone.
Mia Rivera: "And their opponents... first, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at one hundred and twenty pounds... 'IT GIRL' TAYLOR LANDRY!"
Taylor bounced out to a chorus of boos, posing on the ramp and tossing her hair.
Mia Rivera: "And her partner... from—"
Before Mia could finish, Binka Moab stormed into the ring, snatched the microphone straight out of Mia’s hands with absolute contempt, and glared down at the ring announcer.
Binka Moab: "Cease your pedestrian vocalizations, Mia! The intellectual prowess in this ring demands an introduction free from your monosyllabic incompetence! Introducing myself: the apex of cerebral dominance, 'The Intellectual Assassin'... BINKA MOAB!"
Binka shoved the microphone harshly into Mia’s chest. Mia stood her ground, her jaw tight and her eyes burning with quiet fury as referee senior officials escorted her safely out of the ring.
The bell rang.
TIME: 0:00
Taylor and Felicia started the match, locking up with intense aggression. Felicia immediately used her technical pedigree to wrench Taylor’s arm into an overhead wristlock. Taylor reversed into a side headlock, but Felicia shoved her into the ropes and connected with a crisp dropkick.
Biff Franklin: "Felicia Atherton looking to prove a point early on!"
Taylor scrambled to her corner, tagging in Binka. AYA tagged in for her team, meeting Binka in the center of the ring. Binka attempted to use her reach advantage with a heavy forearm, but AYA slipped under the strike and unleashed a blistering Mach Punch Rush straight to Binka’s midsection!
Binka stumbled backward, clutching her ribs. AYA whipped Binka into the ropes and looked for a roundhouse kick, but Taylor reached over the top rope and raked AYA’s eyes behind the referee's back!
Felicia sprinted across the apron and tackled Taylor off the ropes, sending both women crashing to the ringside floor!
Biff Franklin: "And the tempers have completely boiled over on the outside!"
On the floor, Felicia repeatedly slammed Taylor's head into the security barricade. Inside the ring, Binka recovered and blindsided AYA with a vicious Somnambulism hangman's neckbreaker. Instead of going for a cover, Binka mounted AYA and began stomping away at her face!
Felicia rolled back into the ring, grabbed Binka by the hair, and hurled her through the middle ropes to the outside. Taylor leaped onto the apron, diving at Felicia with a flying crossbody, but Felicia caught her and dumped her over the top rope!
All four women began brawling indiscriminately on the floor!
The referee leaned over the ropes, screaming for them to return to the ring.
"ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!"
AYA connected with a stiff spinning back kick that sent Binka crashing into the timekeeper’s table. Taylor grabbed a ringside steel chair and swung it directly at Felicia, but Felicia ducked, and the chair smashed into the ring post with a deafening ring!
"SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE! TEN!"
*DING! DING! DING!*
Mia Rivera: "Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called for a double count-out! This match has been ruled a NO CONTEST!"
Biff Franklin: "The bell has rung, but these four are not stopping!"
Security guards and referees rushed down the aisle, trying to form a wall between the four competitors. AYA shoved two guards aside, diving over the barricade to tackle Binka into the crowd! Felicia and Taylor were rolling across the arena floor, clawing and throwing wild punches as they fought their way up the entrance ramp and disappeared straight through the backstage curtain!
Biff Franklin: "They're fighting all the way to the back! Someone get more security out there!"
VIGNETTE: MORRIGAN RAVENSHADE
The arena lights dimmed to a cold, ethereal violet. Deep, echoing organ chords resonated through the sound system as the broadcast cut to a cinematic video package.
The camera moved slowly down the stone aisle of an ancient, candlelit gothic chapel. Stained glass windows depicted ravens descending through stormy skies. Standing at the pulpit in ornate, dark lace attire was Morrigan Ravenshade. Her pale face was framed by jet-black hair, and her dark eyes stared directly through the camera lens with chilling, hypnotic calmness.
Morrigan Ravenshade: "They tell you that the squared circle is a battlefield. They tell you it is a stage for glory, for vanity, for championship gold... How tragically short-sighted."
She raised a single, black-gloved hand, letting the smoke from a dying candle swirl between her fingers.
Morrigan Ravenshade: "The ring is not an arena. It is a chapel. And every soul who steps between those ropes is searching for absolution. You parade your strength. You flaunt your egos. But beneath the surface, everyone is hiding a secret. Everyone carries a sin they dare not speak aloud."
Her lips curved into a faint, haunting smile.
Morrigan Ravenshade: "I do not enter the ring to wrestle. I enter to hear your confession. And sooner or later... you will all kneel before the altar."
She blew out the candle, plunging the screen into total darkness. In stark crimson lettering, the screen read:
MORRIGAN RAVENSHADE — COMING TO SPLAT! WRESTLING
MATCH 2: RISING STAR SPECIAL ATTRACTION
Charlie Foxtrot vs. Kimberly Hart's Mystery Opponent
Mia Rivera: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from San Diego, California, weighing in at one hundred and ninety-two pounds... 'The Mystic Phoenix'... CHARLIE FOXTROT!"
Charlie made his way down the ramp, looking battle-ready and intensely focused despite the locker room altercation earlier. He slid into the ring, adjusting his boots and glaring toward the entrance curtain.
Mia Rivera: "And introducing his opponent... chosen by Rising Star Champion Kimberly Hart..."
The lights flickered, and a heavy, mechanical beat blasted through the speakers.
Stepping through the curtain, looking cold, ruthless, and dangerous, was Clayton Halliburton!
Biff Franklin: "It's Clayton Halliburton! Fresh off his undefeated sweep through Pennsylvania, Clayton is Kimberly’s chosen assassin!"
Before the bell could ring, the bubbly, chaotic theme music of Kimberly Hart hit. The Rising Star Champion skipped down the ramp wearing her title belt around her waist, a mischievous smile plastered across her face. She pulled up a chair right next to Biff at the commentary desk, sliding a headset over her ears.
Kimberly Hart: "Hi Biffy! Just thought I’d come watch the funeral in person!"
The bell rang.
TIME: 0:00 / 20:00
Clayton charged immediately, locking Charlie in a powerful collar-and-elbow tie-up. Clayton drove Charlie into the corner, delivering stiff European uppercuts and heavy knee strikes to Charlie's midsection, targeting the ribs damaged earlier in the tour.
Biff Franklin: "Clayton is wasting zero time dissecting Foxtrot!"
Charlie fought out of the corner, firing back with rapid palm strikes—the Mantis Blades sequence—backing Clayton toward the center. Charlie bounced off the ropes, hitting a crisp jumping spinning heel kick that rocked Clayton onto his heels.
TIME: 08:30 / 20:00
Clayton seized control on the mat, applying a tight grounded hammerlock. Charlie gritted his teeth, pushing up from the canvas with sheer core strength, reversing the leverage and driving Clayton into the turnbuckle. Charlie charged across the ring, nailing Preem Ride—his signature Shining Wizard!
Charlie hooked the leg!
ONE!
TWO!
Clayton kicked out!
Charlie pulled Clayton up, looking to hoist him for Relic.
Suddenly, Kimberly stood up on her chair at ringside, holding a microphone and screaming directly at Charlie:
Kimberly Hart: "Hey Charlie! Look at me! You're never making it to Nashville! You're a loser, Charlie! A pathetic loser!"
Charlie broke his focus for a fraction of a second, glaring at Kimberly over the top rope.
That split-second distraction was all Clayton needed. Clayton slipped behind Charlie, hooked his arms in a double underhook, and hurled Charlie overhead with a devastating, neck-snapping belly-to-back suplex!
Charlie crashed hard onto the back of his neck. Clayton grabbed Charlie’s legs, snapped him over, and locked in a vicious, modified crossface submission, wrenching Charlie's neck and back with agonizing torque!
Charlie fought desperately, clawing toward the ropes, but the leverage was inescapable. With his vision fading and his ribs screaming in pain, Charlie had no choice but to tap the canvas!
*DING! DING! DING!*
Mia Rivera: "Here is your winner, via submission... CLAYTON HALLIBURTON!"
Kimberly jumped up and down at ringside, clapping hysterically and laughing into her headset.
Kimberly Hart: "I told you, Biff! I told you he couldn't handle real pressure! Nashville is going to be a breeze!"
Clayton broke the hold, staring coldly down at Charlie before exiting the ring without celebrating. Charlie remained on the mat, clutching his neck and breathing heavily in bitter frustration.
BACKSTAGE CUTAWAY: CATERING BRAWL
[BACKSTAGE CATERING AREA]
The cameras abruptly cut backstage where catering staff were screaming and diving for cover!
Felicia Atherton and Taylor Landry had crashed through a folding table covered in fruit trays and coffee carafes! Felicia had Taylor by the hair, driving her face into a tray of pastries.
From the adjacent hallway, AYA came flying through the double doors, tackling Binka Moab straight into a towering rack of stainless-steel chaffing dishes! The metal crashed with a deafening rattle, food spilling everywhere.
Referees: "GET HELP! SOMEONE CALL MAIN SECURITY TO CATERING!"
Binka threw hot coffee toward AYA’s eyes—AYA dodged, but the distraction allowed Binka to grab a plastic serving tray and crack it over AYA’s skull! All four women continued clawing and punching, tumbling out of catering and fighting toward the arena loading bay!
MATCH 3: SIX-PERSON INTER-DIVISION TAG TEAM WAR
Aaron "Scarface" Snyder, Keylla Munoz-Atherton, & ONNA vs. GT, Ashley "The Menace" Ellis, & Nikki Payne
Mia Rivera: "The following contest is a six-person tag team match scheduled for one fall! Introducing first... the team of Aaron 'Scarface' Snyder, 'Miss Magnifica' Keylla Munoz-Atherton, and ONNA!"
Aaron led the way with his calculating, intimidating presence. Keylla posed elaborately on the apron, blowing kisses to the cameras, while ONNA paced behind them like an unleashed beast, glaring at the empty ring.
Mia Rivera: "And their opponents... first, from San Diego, California, weighing one hundred and ninety-five pounds... G-T!"
GT exploded onto the stage with electric charisma, pointing to the rafters as the Charleston crowd cheered loudly.
Mia Rivera: "And his partners... Ashley 'The Menace' Ellis and Nikki Payne!"
Nikki and Ashley joined GT on the ramp, Nikki looking laser-focused while Ashley checked her front-facing phone camera.
The bell rang.
TIME: 0:00 / 20:00
GT and Aaron kicked things off with crisp, technical chain wrestling. Aaron used his size to back GT into the ropes, but GT used a drop toe-hold and a lightning-fast standing moonsault to take Aaron off his feet.
Tags were made on both sides, bringing in Keylla and Ashley. Keylla dominated the exchange, hitting a smooth Colombian arm drag and mocking Ashley’s social media gestures. Ashley fired back with a running forearm, but Keylla caught her off the ropes with a spinning wheel kick.
TIME: 10:15 / 20:00
The powerhouse competitors tagged in. ONNA entered the ring and immediately overpowered Ashley, tossing her across the ring with a massive biel throw. ONNA looked to finish Ashley, but Nikki Payne tagged herself in blind!
Nikki dodged ONNA's clothesline, hitting three rapid forearm smashes. ONNA didn't go down. Nikki bounced off the ropes, but ONNA caught her in a bearhug!
Keylla sprinted into the ring to attack Nikki, but Ashley cut Keylla off with a spear! Aaron charged in, but GT intercepted him with a springboard enzuigiri that sent Aaron tumbling over the top rope to the floor!
Inside the ring, Nikki broke free from ONNA's grip with a series of sharp elbow strikes to the jaw. Nikki ran the ropes, leaped into the air, and nailed ONNA with a flush, devastating Ugly Shot jumping thrust kick to the side of the head!
ONNA wobbled. Nikki immediately leaped onto the second turnbuckle and executed Dismembered—her diving double knee facebreaker!
ONNA crashed face-first to the mat. Nikki hooked both legs with authority!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
*DING! DING! DING!*
Mia Rivera: "Here are your winners... the team of GT, Ashley Ellis, and NIKKI PAYNE!"
Biff Franklin: "Nikki Payne pins ONNA right in the middle of the ring! A massive statement victory for Nikki as she heads into Splatoberfest!"
VIGNETTE: EDDIE BOOM
The screen flashed with erratic, jagged static and the crackle of high-voltage electricity.
The video opened in a dark, grimy basement gym lit only by flickering fluorescent tubes. Eddie Boom was wrapping his hands with black athletic tape, his eyes wide, erratic, and full of manic intensity.
Eddie Boom: "They call me 'The Demented Livewire.' They think it’s just a moniker. They think it’s just a cute little stage name."
He snapped the tape with his teeth and leaned in close to the lens, his face inches from the glass.
Eddie Boom: "Charlie Foxtrot thinks he can walk around playing the tragic hero. He thinks Splat! Wrestling belongs to him and his righteous little crew. But you forgot where you came from, Charlie. You forgot who helped you build your name. And while you’ve been basking in the spotlight, I’ve been rewiring the entire grid."
He pulled out a pair of wire cutters, snapping a sparking electrical cable in two. Sparks rained down across his leather vest.
Eddie Boom: "You’re building a kingdom out of glass, Charlie. And at Splatoberfest... I’m the livewire that burns it all to the ground."
The screen violently shorted out to black.
BACKSTAGE CUTAWAY: LOADING DOCK BRAWL
[ARENA LOADING DOCK / PARKING LOT]
The cameras cut to the concrete loading dock behind the arena. The cool night air rushed in through the open bay doors.
Taylor Landry had AYA pinned against the side of an equipment truck, throwing heavy right hands. AYA blocked a punch, grabbed Taylor by the arm, and executed a picture-perfect judo hip toss onto a stack of empty cardboard flats!
Across the asphalt, Felicia Atherton had Binka Moab trapped in an arm-wrench against the side of a production trailer. Binka raked Felicia's eyes and shoved her backward into a rolling flight case.
Madoka Kawada: (shouting over the chaos) "THAT IS ENOUGH! BACK OFF!"
General Manager Madoka Kawada arrived with eight uniformed West Virginia State Troopers and six senior security officials! The troopers stepped in with tactical batons, physically separating the four women.
AYA had to be held back by two officers as she glared at Binka. Felicia was screaming at Taylor, her makeup smeared but her eyes full of venom.
Madoka Kawada: "You four want to kill each other?! Save it for Nashville! If any of you lays a finger on each other before Saturday, you are out of the championship match! Troopers, escort them to separate dressing rooms NOW!"
The security team dragged all four competitors in opposite directions, finally restoring order to the backstage area.
MATCH 4: RISING STAR SPECIAL ATTRACTION
Kimberly Hart vs. Charlie Foxtrot's Mystery Opponent
Mia Rivera: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Atlanta, Georgia, weighing in at one hundred and thirteen pounds... the RISING STAR CHAMPION... KIMBERLY HART!"
Kimberly strutted to the ring, still riding high from Clayton’s victory over Charlie earlier. She handed her belt to the referee with a condescending grin.
Mia Rivera: "And introducing her opponent... chosen by Charlie Foxtrot..."
The arena speakers hit a heavy, resonant drum rhythm that had the crowd instantly clapping.
Walking out through the entrance curtain, shoulders broad and eyes determined, was JoeStar Stanton!
Biff Franklin: "It's JoeStar Stanton! Charlie chose the powerhouse rookie who took Kimberly to the absolute limit in Boston!"
At the commentary desk, Charlie Foxtrot sat down beside Biff, his ribs taped and an ice pack pressed against the side of his neck. His expression was stony, bitter, and laser-focused.
The bell rang.
TIME: 0:00 / 20:00
JoeStar immediately used his massive strength advantage, catching Kimberly’s running dropkick attempt out of mid-air and tossing her effortlessly across the canvas. Kimberly scrambled to the ropes, looking shocked by JoeStar’s explosive power.
Kimberly tried to use speed, circling JoeStar and hitting her From the Streets kicks against his thighs. JoeStar absorbed the strikes, caught her right leg on the third kick, and lifted her into a high-angle Torque Breaker spinebuster!
TIME: 09:45 / 20:00
JoeStar set Kimberly up for the Iron Verdict.
Kimberly slipped behind the referee, pulling senior official Dan Jacobs into JoeStar's path! As JoeStar stopped to avoid colliding with the ref, Kimberly lunged forward, executing a blatant, uncalled low blow between JoeStar’s legs!
JoeStar collapsed to his knees in agony. Kimberly immediately grabbed JoeStar by the hair, drove him down with Shattered Dreams, and hooked the leg while draping both of her boots across the second rope for illegal leverage!
The referee, still recovering from the near-collision, counted:
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
*DING! DING! DING!*
Kimberly jumped up, demanding her championship belt and raising her hands in victory.
Biff Franklin: "Wait a minute! Her feet were clearly on the ropes!"
Charlie Foxtrot ripped his headset off, slammed the ice pack onto the commentary table, and marched directly into the ring! Charlie stepped right in front of referee Dan Jacobs, pointing emphatically toward the ropes and shouting over the crowd noise.
Charlie Foxtrot: "Dan, look at the monitor! Her feet were draped all over the second rope, and she threw a low blow while your back was turned! You can't let her steal this!"
Kimberly charged at Charlie, screaming at the top of her lungs:
Kimberly Hart: "Get out of my ring, you sore loser! I won! Ref, tell him I won!"
Referee Dan Jacobs held up a hand, stepped through the ropes, and consulted directly with the ringside timekeeper and ringside official who had an unobstructed view of the corner. After a tense ten-second discussion, Jacobs nodded firmly and stepped back inside the ring.
Jacobs walked over to Kimberly, waved his arms in a decisive "wash-out" motion, and pointed toward JoeStar!
Mia Rivera: "Ladies and gentlemen... upon review by the senior official, the pinfall has been waived off! Due to illegal leverage on the ropes... the winner of this match via DISQUALIFICATION... JOESTAR STANTON!"
The Charleston crowd erupted in cheers!
Kimberly let out a blood-curdling shriek, dropping to her knees and violently pounding the canvas with her fists like a spoiled child having a complete meltdown. She grabbed her Rising Star Championship belt, threw it against the turnbuckle pad, and glared murderously at Charlie.
