Biff Franklin: "Such a powerful statement from Madoka! The atmosphere is electric, and it’s all about to unfold! Let’s get this show on the road!"

Seo Hyung Kwon: "Let’s make history tonight, folks! SPLAT! Star-Spangled SPLAT! is just getting started!"

Match 1: Ashley ā€œTHE MENACEā€ Ellis 🤳✨ vs Jessica Carter

The atmosphere was electric as the crowd at the cozy fairground venue erupted in cheers and jeers, eagerly awaiting the clash between two dynamic competitors: Ashley ā€œTHE MENACEā€ Ellis and Jessica Carter. The spotlights flickered on, illuminating the squared circle as Biff Franklin and Seo Hyung Kwon introduced the match, setting the stage for an intense showdown.

As the bell rang, both women circled each other, tension palpable in the air. Ashley, embodying her "The Menace" persona, struck a selfie pose, showcasing her confidence. But Jessica, with her 12 years of experience, wasted no time. She launched at Ashley with a quick tackle, driving her into the corner. The crowd booed Jessica’s aggressive start, but Ashley quickly reversed the momentum, using Jessica’s own weight against her to push her back.

In a stunning display of athleticism, Ashley hit a beautiful Raito Kick, her foot connecting flush with Jessica's jaw. The impact sent Jessica staggering back, and the crowd roared in approval. "What a strike!" Biff called out, excitement in his voice. But just as Ashley looked to capitalize, Jessica retaliated, countering with a vicious forearm smash that turned the tide once more.

Jessica began to wear down Ashley with a series of calculated strikes and holds. She scooped Ashley up for an impressive suplex, leaving her sprawled on the mat. Jessica, feeling the confidence surge, taunted the crowd and followed up with a headlock driver, but Ashley kicked out just in time! It was a close call, sending the fans into a frenzy. "That was nearly it!" Seo chimed in, praising Jessica's powerful attack.

As the match progressed, the two exchanged a flurry of quick blows, each looking for an opening. Ashley attempted to execute her Fit Check Kicks in the corner, delivering a series of kicks while pausing to pose, but Jessica caught her leg on the final kick, transitioning it into a dragon screw that brought Ashley down hard. The sound of the mat echoed around the venue, and the crowd gasped.

Both competitors showed their tenacity, with Ashley rallying back and catching Jessica off-guard with a lightning-fast 4K Enzuigiri, knocking Jessica to her knees. Ashley seized the moment, executing The Shadow Ban—her running knee strike connecting cleanly. She went for the cover, but Jessica managed to kick out at two, eliciting another loud cheer from the audience.

As the match reached its climax, both women were visibly exhausted, their bodies slick with perspiration. Ashley teased her finishing move, the De-Platformer, but Jessica countered, lifting Ashley for another headlock driver attempt. However, Ashley wriggled free, finally hitting the De-Platformer out of nowhere! The crowd erupted as she covered Jessica, the referee sliding into position.

One! Two! Three! The bell rang, and the arena shook with applause and boos alike. Ashley’s crafty tactics and unconventional style had proven victorious tonight. Seo commented on the match, noting Ashley's knack for timing and the importance of her victory in establishing herself in the federation, while Biff congratulated both competitors on an entertaining contest.

Winner: Ashley ā€œTHE MENACEā€ Ellis by pinfall with the De-Platformer.

Match 2: Vesper Venom vs Joseph Stanton

The atmosphere in the small fairground arena is electric as the crowd buzzes in anticipation for the opening match of the evening. The lights flicker, and as Vesper Venom's entrance music blares through the speakers, she strides to the ring with a confident swagger, her chaotic spirit palpable. The fans are torn, intrigued by her unpredictability but not entirely trusting of her intentions. Meanwhile, Joseph Stanton's music hits, and he steps out to a warm reception, his demeanor calm yet focused, ready to prove himself against Venom in what both competitors know is a critical opportunity for their budding careers.

As the bell rings, Vesper lunges forward, taking immediate control with an aggressive striking approach. She unleashes a series of quick jabs, keeping Joseph on the back foot. Seo Hyung Kwon analyzes this, "Vesper's wild style can keep her opponents guessing, but she needs to keep her momentum up to avoid giving Stanton an opening." Joseph cleverly sidesteps, countering with a crisp arm drag that sends Vesper tumbling. This moment shifts the momentum and invites the audience to rally behind Stanton, who capitalizes by delivering a series of shoulder blocks. Vesper, ever unpredictable, aims to reclaim control, catching Joseph with a spinning heel kick that floors him.

Key spots elevate the intensity as both wrestlers exchange near-falls. Joseph tries for a quick pin after a devastating snap suplex, but Vesper kicks out just in time, proving her resilience. She retaliates with a beautiful overhead kick that sees both wrestlers down on the mat, drawing gasps from the crowd. Biff Franklin excitedly remarks, "What a match we have here! The back-and-forth is so even; it could go either way!" As they both rise slowly, Vesper's chaotic energy emerges again, and she charges, only for Joseph to counter with a backdrop that leaves her sprawled across the mat.

Joseph attempts to ground Vesper, locking her in a solid headlock. The strategy reveals a shift in his focus; he knows he must outsmart her unpredictable bursts of offense. But Vesper, tapping into her chaotic nature, escapes with an electric surge, launching into a series of hard-hitting strikes. She nails Joseph with the Venomous Kiss (a super kick, sharp and precise) that nearly seals the deal, leading to yet another dramatic near-fall. The crowd erupts as she hooks the leg for a count of two, and Seo adds, "Wow! Vesper showing that unpredictability pays off as she nearly takes it there!"

Both competitors are feeling the effects, trading strikes, each hit echoing through the venue. In a critical moment, Joseph counters with his Iron Verdict STO, slamming Vesper onto the mat! He goes for the cover, but she kicks out right before the three-count—her tenacity a point of pride. The audience is at the edge of their seats as the energy continues to rise. Back on their feet, Joseph channels his focus into attempting his finishing move, the Stanton Lockdown Crossface, but Vesper deftly maneuvers out, flipping him over in a surprising show of agility.

Finally, Vesper recalls her earlier momentum, gaining a burst of energy. She sets up for another attempt at her finisher, the Bitter End Figure Four Leglock, but Joseph resists, rotating to roll her up for a near fall! It’s frantic as both scramble to stand, vying for that decisive blow. In one final push, Vesper manages to land the Venomous Kiss once more, this time following up by pinning Joseph to the mat.

As the referee counts to three, the crowd erupts in mixed cheers and jeers for the dynamic finish. Vesper leans back, a sly grin spreading across her face—chaos indeed brings victory!

Winner: Vesper Venom by pinfall with Venomous Kiss.

Match 3: Xander Hayes vs Grant Maddox

The atmosphere inside the small fairground venue buzzes with anticipation as the lights dim, highlighting the brightly colored ring. The crowd is electric as Xander Hayes’s entrance music hits, sending cheers and applause echoing through the room. Xander, strong and agile, steps through the ropes, acknowledging the fans with a confident smile. His opponent, Grant Maddox, follows closely, receiving a similar roar of approval as he showcases his athleticism, eager to prove himself alongside his equally promising rival.

As the bell rings, both men circle each other, trading looks of respect before locking up in the center of the ring. They grapple for control, each exerting their strength. Xander gains the upper hand with a side headlock, but Grant swiftly counters, pushing Xander into the ropes and sending him bouncing off. Upon rebound, Grant executes a well-timed shoulder tackle, dropping Xander to the mat, followed by a quick one-count by the referee.

ā€œA strong start by both competitors,ā€ Biff Franklin exclaims. ā€œYou can feel the intensity in this match already!ā€

Seo Hyung Kwon adds, ā€œBoth wrestlers know what’s at stake. Each is here to prove they belong in this ring and are ready to take the next step in their careers.ā€

After the initial exchange, the match takes on a seesaw nature with both athletes trading blows and grappling maneuvers. Xander manages to regain momentum with a swift dropkick that sends Grant to the ropes. Seizing the moment, Xander presses forward with a series of hard-hitting strikes, culminating in a beautiful spinning neckbreaker that has the fans on their feet. He goes for the cover, but Grant kicks out at two, much to the crowd’s delight.

The action heats up as Grant uses his agility to rebound. After dodging another charge from Xander, he delivers a devastating standing moonsault, swiftly going for a pin as excitement hangs in the air. The referee counts: one, two, but Xander powers out, refusing to stay down.

ā€œWhat a display of athleticism!ā€ Biff calls out, his voice rising with excitement. ā€œBoth of these athletes are giving it their all!ā€

As the match progresses, both wrestlers seem to be searching for that extra gear. Grant betrays a flicker of desperation, launching into a brilliant series of moves including an overhead belly-to-belly suplex and transitioning smoothly into a submission attempt with a rear chin lock. Yet, Xander withstands the pressure, managing to escape with a well-timed reversal that leaves the audience gasping.

In a heart-stopping moment, both wrestlers are laid out after a simultaneous crossbody attempt, crashing to the mat. The referee starts the count, and the crowd counts along, their energy feeding into the revival of both newcomers. At the count of six, they begin to stir, rising to their feet and exchanging punches in the center of the ring. It’s a classic showdown as each hits hard, neither willing to back down.

As they exchange blows, Xander finds a surge of energy, striking Grant with a powerful right hand that sends him reeling. Xander charges, elevating the match’s intensity with a picture-perfect discus lariat — ā€œThe Sonic Boom!ā€ — but Grant narrowly kicks out just as the referee’s hand reaches the canvas for a three-count. The crowd erupts in disbelief.

ā€œUnbelievable! You could almost taste victory for Xander there!ā€ Biff exclaims. ā€œWhat a match!ā€

With both wrestlers visibly exhausted yet determined, Grant musters the strength to set up his finisher, ā€œThe Maddox Law.ā€ He goes for the full-rotation discus lariat, but Xander ducks at the last second, catching Grant off guard. Xander executes another impressive maneuver — a high-impact vertical Muta Lock known as ā€œMile High Twist.ā€ The audience roars as he locks it in, and Grant struggles, reaching instinctively for the ropes.

However, with sheer will, Grant reverses into a small package! The referee drops down for the count — one, two, but Xander manages to shift his weight and roll free, displaying fantastic ring awareness and resilience.

With the end drawing near, both men dig deep for the final push. They charge at each other simultaneously, crashing in the center ring. In a climactic moment, Xander regains his footing and, with blistering speed, transitions into ā€œThe Sonic Boom,ā€ flooring Grant with authority! He hooks the leg as the referee counts — one, two, three!

The crowd erupts in cheers as the referee signals the end of the match, a clear victory for Xander Hayes.

Winner: Xander Hayes by pinfall with Sonic Boom.

Kimberly Hart is sitting on a crate. She looks in the distance as she starts to think about tonight. Tonight, she has a chance to be the champion that she has always thought of herself as. Having a double countout with Skylar. It almost felt like everything was shattered until it was announced that it would be a triple threat match. That right there sets up a second chance for Kimberly.

Kimberly is wearing her ring gear with custom Red, White, and blue stitching on the back of her jacket. She looks down at the ground, and everyone can tell that this isn’t the same Kimberly Hart. This was the one woman who has shown the heart that people say she doesn’t have. But Kimbely has always believed in herself and always thought of herself as the color red in a world full of black and white.

Kimberly looked in the distance and closed her eyes. She takes in everything that is going to happen tonight. Weirdly, it felt so unreal, but she gets the chance to walk out tonight as the Rising Star Champion. She opens her eyes.

Kimberly Hart: Growing up, I was always the problem child. Always told that I’ll never amount to anything. When I was a child, I thought that, but then I thought about everything and realized that I did something that others couldn’t.

She turns towards the camera and gives off a smile.

Kimberly Hart: All those who doubted me when I was a child, look at me now. While I’m doing this, the rest of you are still down in Vegas. I’m a superstar icon that nobody can touch. Tonight, I’m going to finish what was started at the very beginning. Skylar Sweeney, Poema Tua, I know you two have shown the same thing I did, but tonight, that all ends for you.

She gets off the crate and tilts her head to the side as she gives off a little smile.

Kimberly Hart: Tonight is the night when everyone is going to remember this night. I don’t know what's going to happen, but what I do know is that I’m going to do whatever it takes to win. Since this is a three-way, I can do whatever I want with no consequences. I can do whatever I want, and nobody, and I mean nobody, is going to bat an eye at me.

Skyler Sweeney, our last match ended in a double countout, and that right there was the end. But in a turn of events, we were both placed in this match, and that right there is where we could right the wrong.

Her lips are curved a bit.

Kimberly Hart: Which brings me to you, Peoma Tua. You have survived this tournament just like Skylar Sweeney and me, but tonight, that dream that you have in your head is going to remain in your head. Because when people think about this match, they are going to know that Kimberly Hart is the best, if not the greatest wrestler that ever stepped foot in Splat Wrestling.

Tonight, in that match, I’m going to reach for that golden ring and prove without a shadow of a doubt that I’m the greatest wrestler who has ever stepped foot in Splat. Skylar Sweeney, Peoma Tua, tonight – you’re going to fail. Not because I said so, but because it’s a fact. I’ve shown that even when I get knocked down, I get right back in the fight. I have faced everyone who stood in front of me, and I beat them.

And tonight, it’s not going to be any different. Tonight, I’m walking in, and I’m walking out as Rising Star Champion. And if Skylar wants to talk about me holding a title just to have my name on it? Laughs Go ahead. Because let me make it clear to you, Skylar. You know nothing about me. Tonight, you can continue to talk like I’m living rent-free in your head. Just know that tonight, I’m going to put you, Peoma Tua, and all the doubters to bed once and for all.

She walks away as the scene fades to black.

Poema segment

The scene starts with Poema Tua lost in thought as she begins to talk

Poema Tua: Today is my birthday. Twenty five years I’ve been around the sun.

She pauses

Poema Tua: and in my twenty five years, never did I expect to be wrestling and competing for a championship. I had to go out there and find what I wanted to do, and now, I got the chance to do so.

She stops for a second.

Poema Tua: This match is not going to be a cake in the park to walk. I’m going against two of the toughest women on the Splat Wrestling roster and two women who deserve to be there.

She runs her hands.

Poema Tua: Kimberly Hart, Skylar Sweeney, there’s a reason why we are where we are right now. Last week, when I was watching, I didn’t know who it was going to be, but seeing it was you two…

She stops and thinks before talking again

Poema Tua; The game was going to become harder then ever because there’s three women that really want to become champion the most

She stops

Poema Tua: and just like this whole tournament, I’m not going down without a fight and I’m going to make history…

She walks out and heads for the match

Backstage

Skylar Sweeney is a little bit frustrated. She definitely went through the ringer last week but to be in a triple threat situation is definitely something that is getting on her nerves a little bit. She’s still doing all that she can to stay focused and with that, she begins to express her thoughts.

Skylar Sweeney: I can’t say that I like this triple threat situation. But, I’m not going to complain about it. In a perfect situation, it’d be Poema and I one on one. That being said, I think back to what I said about Poema and I don’t take any of it back. Kimberly and I at the very least managed to win our non-tournament matches along the way, but Poema had a stumble or two. I very much believe that she only turns it on when it matters the most and there’s no denying the fact that her win over Raya earlier in the tournament was seen as a massive surprise…

And I hate to say it, but I don’t blame anyone that was surprised by that. Raya was someone that was on a roll and was pretty much the favorite to win the whole thing when she started and she worked just as hard if not harder than Poema only for Poema to get the win when it mattered. The hardest working wrestler doesn’t always get the rewards in the end which is something that I’ve found out a time or two along the way myself.

My brutally honest opinion is this… Poema is a fine athlete. She’s a contender. She deserves to be here. But does she deserve to win? Does she deserve to be the Splat Rising Star Champion? In my opinion?

Skylar pauses as she shakes her head.

Skylar Sweeney: No. I don’t mean that in a personal way. I mean that respectfully. Any championship in this business deserves to have a champion that is going to make the effort 24/7. I don’t think she’s that.

Kimberly though…

Skylar pauses as she thinks back to the match she just had with her. She’s very much irritated but she’s doing her best to keep her cool.

Skylar Sweeney: She pretty much became the ā€˜sentimental favorite’ once Raya got bounced. And why wouldn’t she? As I mentioned before, she almost never loses it seems like. But then I had that horrible first TV outing against fucking Victoria Drake and I’ve ran the table on TV ever since. She can put herself all over social media all she wants to but ultimately, I’m not a girl that takes s***. I was born and bred to be tough. I was born and bred to be a champion. I was trained to respect the business, to put myself out there, to be a force in this business and to shine among the darkness that tends to be all over the place. I didn’t come here to be someone else’s bridesmaid, I came here to be the best.

I didn’t come here to be someone that a sentimental favorite like Kimberly that everyone thinks is going to win the entire thing can just walk all over and be a stepping stone for their moment of glory. I was pissed when we had the double countout. It sure as hell didn’t feel like I deserve to be here. But all I have to do to prove otherwise is to win this match and become the first Rising Star Champion. Through hell and high water and through all the bull I’ve had to deal with along the way, that’s exactly what I’ll be and I know in my heart that when I am that champion, I’ll have earned it and deserved it….

Skylar makes her exit at this point.

Match 4: Skylar Sweeney vs Kimberly Hart vs Poema Tua

Ring Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, this match is one fall and is a fourth round match in the Rising Star Championship Tournament!

The atmosphere in the packed fairground is electrifying as Skylar Sweeney, Kimberly Hart, and Poema Tua step into the ring. The anticipation is palpable, the crowd buzzing with excitement for this triple-threat clash.

The match begins with all three wrestlers cautiously circling each other in the center of the ring. Kimberly, the devious heel, immediately attempts to gain a psychological edge. She gestures mockingly for the crowd to cheer for her, sending a strong message to her opponents. Skylar and Poema exchange glances and nod, then turn their attention to Kimberly, recognizing the threat she poses. They rush forward, and a chaotic flurry ensues. Skylar launches into a rapid-fire sequence of offense with her Snap Dragon Suplex, while Poema follows up with her signature Tropical Twist Superkick, sending Kimberly flying against the ropes.

The action spills to the floor as Skylar and Poema seek to capitalize, working together to plant Kimberly with an Exploder Suplex onto the apron. The crowd roars in approval, the heroics of both women energizing the audience. With Kimberly temporarily incapacitated, they turn their attention back to one another, battling for dominance in a display of athleticism and intention.

As the match progresses, the momentum shifts back and forth. Potent moves are exchanged; Poema nails a German Suplex on Skylar that nearly gets a three-count. Skylar responds with her Cattle Clutch, desperately trying to maintain control, but Poema has too much fight left in her. The tension builds as both wrestlers narrowly escape pinfalls. Biff Franklin reacts, "What an incredible exchange! These three are really bringing it tonight!"

At around the 40-minute mark, Kimberly, aware of the tide of the match not favoring her, rolls to the outside and pulls a steel chair from under the ring. Just as she prepares to strike, the unexpected happens. The lights temporarily dim, and from the shadows, ONNA emerges, still seeking revenge for her injury. The crowd buzzes in anticipation. ONNA wastes no time. She sneaks up on Poema, striking her with the chair and sending her staggering towards the ring post. With a swift movement, she drives Poema's back into the steel post, leaving her writhing on the ground. Seo Hyung Kwon, shocked but quick on the draw, exclaims, "This has turned into absolute chaos! What is ONNA doing here?"

ONNA isn't finished. She spots Poema, who’s barely recovering. Loading her fury, she delivers a fearsome powerslam, driving Poema through a table placed ringside, effectively eliminating her from the match. The audience gasps, transfixed by the sudden violence and betrayal. ONNA glares at the fallen Poema, blaming her for the past injury, before slinking back into the shadows.

With Poema incapacitated at ringside, the match’s focus shifts back to Kimberly and Skylar. Sensing her window, Kimberly pounces. She catches Skylar off guard with her SHATTERED DREAMS, hitting it perfectly and going for the cover. The ref counts: one...two...the referee hesitates, the pressure building in the arena before the ref counts: three! This time, it’s confirmed. The bell rings, signaling the victory for Kimberly.

Winner: Kimberly Hart by pinfall with SHATTERED DREAMS.
