Seo Hyung Kwon: Attorney At Law emphasizes, “Also on the card, Julian Ward and Grant Maddox will fight tooth and nail for victory, while Poema Tua takes on Victoria Drake in a women’s match that promises to showcase skill and tenacity!”

As the commentary team builds the excitement, the camera shifts, revealing Madoka Kawada watching intently from backstage. Turning to the camera, she confidently states, “Tonight is a turning point for many of these athletes. Only the best will rise to the top, and I promise you won't be disappointed. Now, let’s get this show on the road!” The scene shifts back to the ring as the lights dim, ready for the first match.

Match 1: Ashley “THE MENACE” Ellis 🤳✨ vs Vesper Venom

The atmosphere in the fairground was electric as Ashley “THE MENACE” Ellis 🤳✨ and Vesper Venom stepped into the ring for their long-anticipated singles match. With the crowd buzzing, the action kicked off swiftly, each wrestler looking to establish dominance early.

Ashley, embodying her heel persona, quickly began to taunt the audience, posing for selfies that only fueled their disdain. She connected with a series of Fit Check Kicks in the corner, each kick echoing off the turnbuckle as she struck a model pose after each blow. Biff Franklin enthusiastically exclaimed, “Ashley is making a statement early on!” Meanwhile, Seo Hyung Kwon noted, “The confidence she exudes is almost palpable, but will it prove to be her downfall?”

Vesper, unfazed by Ashley's antics, retaliated with a swift counter using a raito kick, sending Ashley stumbling back. The crowd erupted as Venom seized momentum, executing a smooth scoop slam that saw Ashley hit the mat hard. This burst of energy shifted the balance, and Vesper followed up with a crisp superkick known as the Venomous Kiss, but Ashley narrowly escaped the pinfall with a two-count.

Feeling the pressure, Ashley regrouped, clutching her head and using the ropes to pull herself up. In a moment of desperation, she pulled Vesper into a brutal Shadow Ban, smashing her face into the mat. As Ashley transitioned to a ground game, she locked in her Terms of Service submission hold, pulling back on Vesper's neck while taunting her with whispers of “Stay mad.” The crowd gasped, sensing the climax of the match approaching, but Vesper showcased her resilience, managing to crawl to the ropes just in time.

The near-falls kept the audience on the edge of their seats; both women traded control multiple times, showcasing their incredible determination. Vesper nearly captured victory again with another Venomous Kiss, but Ashley rolled away, avoiding the disaster at the last second. With each passing moment, it felt like the match could swing either way.

As the battle wore on, the frenetic pace left both competitors exhausted and bruised. In a final burst, Ashley flipped the script with a breathtaking 4K Enzuigiri, catching Vesper off guard. Feeling invigorated by the moment, Ashley went for her signature finisher, the De-Platformer, delivering the curb stomp with fervor. She quickly covered Vesper for the pin, and the referee counted to three.

Biff Franklin shouted, “What a finish from Ashley! She really knows how to make an impact!” Seo Hyung Kwon emphasized, “The mind games, the physicality—Ashley capitalized on every opportunity to undermine her opponent!”

Winner: Ashley “THE MENACE” Ellis 🤳✨ by pinfall with De-Platformer.

Match 2: Kimberly Hart vs Joseph Stanton

The arena is filled with an electrifying buzz as Kimberly Hart and Joseph Stanton prepare to clash in their singles match. The bell rings, and Kimberly, with a cocky swagger, takes the center of the ring, urging the crowd to boo her as she stretches her arms out wide. Joseph, however, assesses her carefully, ready to counter her brash tactics.

As the match begins, Joseph attempts to lock up with Kimberly, but she quickly sidesteps, laying a sharp kick to his midsection, showcasing her chaotic evil persona. Biff Franklin calls out, "What a cheap shot! Kimberly is off to a quick start!" Seo Hyung Kwon adds, "She thrives on exploiting her opponent's trust." Kimberly follows up with her "Watch Me" shotgun dropkick, sending Joseph crashing into the corner, eliciting a roar of approval from the audience.

Momentum shifts as Joseph, rallying from the corner, counters with a clothesline that knocks Kimberly down. The crowd cheers as he lifts her up, delivering a swift STO known as the "Iron Verdict." The referee counts, but she kicks out at two, and the tension builds. Kimberly takes a moment to regroup outside the ring, taunting the crowd, yelling, "You think I'm done? Please!"

Back in the ring, Kimberly regains control, using her "Nightmares are made of" rope-hung DDT to incapacitate Joseph. She goes for a pin, but he powers out at two and a half, eliciting near-gasps from the audience. Biff Franklin observes, "You can feel the stakes rising in this match! Both competitors are bringing their A-game!"

As the match progresses, Joseph shows resilience, countering Kimberly's next assault with a series of strikes, followed by a knee to her gut. The crowd rallies behind him as he prepares for a comeback. He connects with a spinning elbow, followed by a "Stanton Lockdown" crossface. Kimberly writhes in the hold, struggling to escape as the referee hovers, checking for a tap out. Just when it seems she might give in, she manages to grasp the ropes, forcing the break.

With tension mounting, both competitors exchange strikes as they get to their feet. Kimberly, in a moment of desperation, attempts her “APEX CRUSHER” mandible claw, but Joseph ducks and counters, lifting her for another "Iron Verdict." He connects, but Kimberly rolls out just in time, showcasing her crafty veteran experience.

Finally, as the match nears its climax, Joseph goes for a high-risk move off the top rope, but Kimberly catches him mid-air, executing a perfectly timed "SHATTERED DREAMS," driving him face-first into the mat. The referee counts—one, two, three! The crowd erupts, some in cheers while others boo, reflecting the chaotic nature of the match.

Winner: Kimberly Hart by pinfall with SHATTERED DREAMS.

Skylar Sweeney is reflecting a bit on things. She has been on a roll, but at the same time,s he knows that she’s going to be facing tougher competition going forward. She collects herself when the camera comes on her and she wastes no time beginning to speak.

Skylar Sweeney: I’ve taken my lumps, yes. But I continue to keep things moving. They threw multiple competitors at me and I was STILL able to win. Here we go again with another multi-person match and that’s a challenge that I’m not going to worry about too much. The hard part from a psychological perspective is looking ahead to the semifinals and completely forgetting about the match that is in front of me and as much as I hate to bring this up…

Skylar pauses and lets out a bit of a disappointed sigh.

Skylar Sweeney: Poema dropped the ball on that. She’s got her tournament match tonight and I really hope she wins because NOBODY wants to see fucking Victoria Drake in the finals of this thing. I don’t think that I am the only one that is thinking that. But for right now? To the competitors that have to deal with me, you already know. I’m not going to sit back and just relax. I’m not Poema. I’m not going to make that same mistake. Yes, I have my semifinals match next week. Yes, I know who my opponent is. But I’m not wrestling that match tonight.

This is a match that I expect to win. After the way I suffered at the start of this thing, I knew that I had to stop being the happy go lucky girl that I was acting like when I first got here.Xander Hayes, hopefully you’re not starting to become a repeat opponent. It wasn’t that long ago that I bounced you from this tournament and I wouldn’t mind beating you again. Tyler Albright, you haven’t done enough or shown me enough to have to worry about you very much but that doesn’t mean that I am going to underestimate you in the slightest. I’m still here, I’ve still got a job to do and I am going to make sure that I take care of business to build that last bit of momentum for next week’s semifinal match which I already know is going to be the biggest match of my young career so far.

So as far as I am concerned Xander and Tyler… you’ve got more than enough to worry about. You’re both out of the Rising Star picture for the time being and if you’re going to win this match, one will have to pin the other because with the roll I’m on? You’re not going to beat me

Skylar maintains her poise and her confidence as she walks out of the studio.

Match 3: Tyler Albright vs Skylar Sweeney vs Xander Hayes

The atmosphere was electric inside the small venue, filled with the buzzing excitement of fans as they anticipated a fierce three-way clash between Tyler Albright, Skylar Sweeney, and Xander Hayes. Commentary from Biff Franklin and Seo Hyung Kwon set the stage as the bell rang, with Biff declaring, “Hold onto your hats, folks! This one promises to be a wild ride!”

As the match began, Tyler Albright quickly took control, flaunting her heel persona by taunting both rivals. She targeted Skylar first, executing her Spin Cycle, connecting right on target. But Sweeney wasn’t one to back down, responding with a swift Rolling Sole Butt that sent Tyler staggering into the ropes. Meanwhile, Xander used the distraction to execute a smooth Exploder Suplex on Skylar, showcasing his raw, heroic energy and level-headed approach.

The momentum shifted back and forth, creating an intense back-and-forth. Tyler, driven by her villainous demeanor, attempted to isolate Xander, but he countered her Shot In The Dark with a well-timed Discus Lariat, bringing the crowd to its feet. Biff noted, “That could be the turning point!”

With the action ramping up, both Tyler and Skylar found themselves exchanging fierce strikes. Tyler pulled off a cunning move, dodging a charging Skylar and executing her Lightning Flip from the apron, catching Skylar off-guard with a stunning buckshot lariat. The crowd reacted with a mix of cheers and jeers. “That’s the kind of opportunistic behavior that makes Tyler such a threat!” Seo added, emphasizing Tyler’s rule-breaking tactics.

After a series of near-falls, including a close count on Skylar after a Sunset Flip Piledriver, both women showcased their resilience. With Xander recovering from Tyler's dirty tactics, Skylar lunged forward with her Snap Dragon Suplex, driving Tyler to the mat hard. Biff exclaimed, “What a sequence! Can she seal the deal?”

With determined energy, Skylar went for her Cattle Clutch, seeking to trap Tyler in a painful submission. But just as she locked it in, Xander charged, delivering a thunderous Sonic Boom, breaking the hold and sending Tyler rolling outside the ring, momentarily out of the match. It was down to Skylar and Xander, and the anticipation in the crowd was palpable.

However, Tyler wasn’t out yet. With a swift comeback, she re-entered and surprised both opponents with a rolling elbow drop. Just when she thought she had the advantage, Skylar dodged her next attack and executed a powerful Exploder Suplex on Tyler, followed swiftly by her Cattle Clutch once again. In a moment of pure determination, Tyler crawled towards the ropes, but Skylar held firm.

Desperation seeped into the match, as Tyler fought valiantly to break the hold. Yet, in a stunning show of athleticism and will, Skylar tightened the grip, forcing Tyler to tap out. The crowd erupted as Skylar Sweeney emerged victorious, her face flushed with victory and her arms raised in triumph.

Winner: Skylar Sweeney by submission with Cattle Clutch.

Poema segment

The scene starts with Poema Tua lost in thought about what happened last week

Poema Tua: I’m going to be the first to admit…. Last week was not my week. Something was off about me and I have nobody but to blame but myself.

She stops for a second

Poema Tua: This week? There is NO ROOM for failure. I’m facing off against Victoria Drake, someone I know oh so well because we’ve faced off in the past before!

She has a serious look on her face

Poema Tua: And this? This?!

She points

Poema Tua: Can lead to one or two things - I win, I move onto the finals, but if I lose….

She pauses

Poema Tua: I’m done. Out. And have to start again. There’s not going to be excuses for this! I cannot, will not, I cannot lose this fight at all!

She walks out and heads to her match

Match 4: Julian Ward vs Grant Maddox

In a thrilling singles match, Julian Ward squared off against Grant Maddox in front of a buzzing crowd at the local fairgrounds, under the watchful eye of General Manager Madoka Kawada.

The contest kicked off energetically as both competitors circled the ring, sizing each other up. Ward demonstrated his unpredictable nature, darting in for a quick takedown attempt, but Maddox countered with a smooth escape, earning a round of applause from the audience. The early exchanges consisted of basic grappling maneuvers, but both men were eager to display their burgeoning skills. Grant landed a solid shoulder block, momentarily staggering Julian, who quickly retreated to regroup.

As the match progressed, the momentum shifted dramatically. Julian caught Grant with a sudden Boardroom Breaker, landing a fierce elbow strike that left Maddox reeling. The crowd gasped as Ward followed up with a quick cover, but Maddox kicked out just before the two-count, showing determination and fighting spirit. Seo Hyung Kwon chimed in, “Ward is a wild card; you never know how he’ll strike next!”

Following the near-fall, Grant rallied back with an aggressive offense. He executed a series of strikes and counters, finally hitting a textbook vertical suplex that showcased his experience. Maddox then ascended the ropes, attempting a flying crossbody, but Julian dodged expertly, causing Maddox to crash onto the mat. The excitement escalated as the crowd cheered for both athletes, clearly invested in the unpredictable match.

The tension soared as both men exchanged blows in the center of the ring. Julian managed to lock in a Minority Report, transitioning into a rolling cross-armlock, but Grant fought valiantly, refusing to submit. He reached for the ropes, and the energy in the venue peaked as the audience rallied behind him. Barely making a break, Maddox countered with a quick escape and fired back with a Maddox Law, a full-rotation discus lariat. This led to another dramatic near-fall, as Ward rolled his shoulder up just in time!

As the match neared its conclusion, both men were visibly fatigued but desperate to secure the win. Ward seized the opportunity, transitioning from a standing wrist trap into his White Room Silence submission hold. The crowd gasped as Maddox struggled to escape the pressure. The cheers turned into a tense silence as he fought through the pain, but it was clear that Julian had the hold locked in tightly.

In a last-ditch effort, Grant managed to break free and counter with a surprisingly powerful Hostile Takeover knee strike. However, it wasn’t enough to keep his opponent down, as Julian crawled back to his feet, determination etched on his face. With one final push, Julian executed his Ward Directive, a sudden ripcord knee to the face, leaving Maddox unable to respond.

As the referee counted to three, the venue erupted in a mix of shock and applause. The unpredictability of Julian Ward had paid off in this contest.

Winner: Julian Ward by pinfall with Ward Directive.

Match 5: Poema Tua vs Victoria Drake

Ring Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, this match is one fall and is a third round match in the Rising Star Championship Tournament!

The atmosphere in the packed fairground was electric as Poema Tua made her entrance, the crowd instantly rallying behind her with cheers and chants. Victoria Drake, on the other hand, walked to the ring with a smug grin, soaking in the boos from the audience as she prepared to do battle. The bell rang, signaling the start of this crucial tournament match.

Poema began strong, showcasing her agility with an impressive series of maneuvers. She launched into a Tropical Twist Superkick early on, catching Victoria flush on the jaw, which sent her staggering back into the corner. “What a kick! Poema is looking sharp!” Biff Franklin exclaimed from the commentary table. Seo Hyung Kwon nodded in agreement, adding, “Poema’s speed is her greatest asset, and it’s paying off here.”

As Poema attempted to build momentum, Victoria cunningly rolled out of the ring, taking a moment to regain her composure. Once back inside, the tension escalated. Victoria fought back with her signature Black Rose Knee, delivering a devastating strike that crumpled Poema to the canvas. "That was a vicious knee! You can't count out Victoria just yet," Biff noted with excitement, while Seo highlighted Victoria's underhanded tactics that the crowd despised.

The match continued with both women trading strikes, each taking turns to mount offense. Poema bridged perfectly into an Island's End, nearly securing a pinfall, but Victoria kicked out at two! The crowd erupted, rallying behind Poema’s relentless spirit. “This crowd is loving Poema’s fight! They believe she can pull through!” Biff shouted.

With both wrestlers visibly fatigued, the stakes grew higher. In a dramatic moment, Victoria attempted her Widowmaker finisher, but Poema countered beautifully! Poema found the strength within to springboard off the ropes and deliver a jaw-dropping backflip senton, crashing down on Victoria with impressive impact. The arena gasped collectively, as Poema quickly went for the cover.

Referee's hand hit the mat—ONE! TWO! But Victoria kicked out at the last possible moment, forcing Poema to rethink her strategy. The near-fall left the audience on the edge of their seats.

As the tension in the arena reached a breaking point, Poema summoned all her energy and climbed to the top rope, eyes focused, channeling the energy from her adoring fans. She executed her spectacular finisher, the Good Night From the Waves, flawlessly, crashing down onto Victoria! The crowd erupted in cheers, knowing this could be it.

With a quick hook of the leg, the referee counted—ONE! TWO! THREE! The bell rang, and the crowd exploded with excitement as Poema Tua celebrated her hard-fought victory.

Winner: Poema Tua by pinfall with Good Night From the Waves.
