Match 1: Kyle Reddick vs Jessica Carter

The atmosphere inside the small fairground venue was electric as Kyle Reddick and Jessica Carter made their entrances to a mix of cheers and boos. The tension reached a fever pitch as the two competitors sized each other up, with Kyle’s honorable demeanor contrasting Jessica’s sly, villainous smirk. The referee called for the bell, and the match was underway.

Right from the start, Kyle took the initiative, using his speed and agility to gain an early advantage. He whipped Jessica into the ropes, catching her with a shoulder tackle that sent her sprawling to the mat. The crowd erupted in applause as he executed a series of crisp arm drags, displaying his technical prowess. However, Jessica quickly found her footing, slithering out of a hold and using a hair pull to yank Kyle off his balance, turning the momentum back to her favor.

Jessica revelled in the crowd’s disapproval, taunting them while delivering a series of sharp kicks to Kyle’s midsection. She then locked in a headlock, applying pressure as she whispered insults, but Kyle showed his resilience, powering out with a back suplex that left them both gasping for air. The back-and-forth continued, with near-falls peppering the action; Kyle narrowly escaped a pin after a wicked DDT from Jessica, while Jessica just barely kicked out from a beautiful standing moonsault executed by Kyle.

As the match progressed, the intensity escalated with each exchange. Kyle built momentum again, hitting his signature move, the KDR-DT (Snap DDT), driving Jessica into the mat. The crowd began to rally behind him, chanting his name as he went for the cover, but Jessica managed to kick out at two, to everyone’s disbelief. The match was clearly reaching its climax.

Jessica, desperate now, resorted to her nefarious tactics. She feigned injury, eliciting concern from the referee, and when Kyle approached her, she took him by surprise with a sudden thrust kick to his knee, bringing him down. Seizing the moment, Jessica connected with her finisher, the "Bonne Nuit," executing a devastating headlock driver that planted Kyle squarely to the mat. She hooked his leg, and the referee counted one… two… three!

Seo Hyung Kwon immediately noted the audacity of Jessica's tactics on commentary, stating, “That’s the mark of a true heel—taking any shortcut necessary to get the win!” Meanwhile, Biff Franklin exclaimed in disbelief, “Kyle fought valiantly, but it’s tough to overcome a seasoned competitor like Jessica when she plays dirty!”

Jessica quickly slid out of the ring as the bell rang, smirking at the crowd who showered her with boos, while Kyle lay in the ring, frustrated yet determined. The match served as another showcase of the ruthless nature of the developmental fed, giving fans a glimpse into the battles that await these rookies as they navigate their way through the wrestling world.

Winner: Jessica Carter by pinfall with "Bonne Nuit".

Skylar Sweeney is in the studio and amusingly, there is a picture of Victoria Drake with a massive red “X” all over her face while some smaller pictures of Jessica Carter and Elena Douglas are visible nearby. Skyler seems to be in an okay mood, but there is definitely an annoyed presence from her. She’s about to express this, it would appear.

Skylar Sweeney: Okay, so there’s a reason why I have this display here of Victoria, Elena and Jessica. That’s because on television, up to this point, these are the only three that I have wrestled and as you can tell, I have been very annoyed with facing Victoria Drake over and over especially since aside from the first encounter, I’ve constantly beaten her.

So which one is it? Who am I facing yet again? Because it seems to rotate between these three pretty consistently. Oh wait, I’m NOT facing Victoria for the ten millionth time? That’s progress. Wait, I’m not facing Elena again? Nice. I’m not facing Carter after I beat her in the tournament? Splendid.

Wait…

WAIT…

I’m actually facing someone DIFFERENT this time on television?

Oh thank god! I’m sorry, I don’t mean to sound snobby or anything, but I’m bored with facing the same opponents on SMASH again and again. This week, I am facing Tamara Samuels. She seems to be doing okay I guess. Unfortunately….

While I advanced in the Rising Stars tournament…

Tamara… you didn’t… and to make matters worse, you lost to Victoria Drake. Can you tell I REALLY hate that woman? But I digress! Tamara, it’s not a good thing for you that you weren’t able to advance in the tournament but I did and with that being said, I cannot and will not lose to you. This may not be a tournament match, but I have to keep focused and I have to keep pushing forward. If I lose to someone that’s already been eliminated from the tournament, then that’s going to create a massive ding for my momentum and I just can’t have that. I’m not going to give Xander Hayes any reason to have any sort of advantage over me when the quarterfinals match hits…

So losing to you is not only unaffordable…

It’s INEXCUSABLE!

Skylar pauses for a second as she keeps her intensity at a top notch level.

Skylar Sweeney: I’ve overcome so much, including a horrible start to my Splat Wrestling run, just to even get here and the world’s just starting to see how good I can be when I push through the worst start that I could ever want or imagine. I continue to step up my game and anything less than the finals of this tournament is going to be a huge disappointment for me. So Tamara, you better find whatever guts you clearly didn’t have when you lost to Victoria and you better saddle the f*** up…

Because right now?

I’m definitely not in the mood to play the sweetheart!

Skylar makes her exit and the scene cuts out.

Match 2: Skylar Sweeney vs Tamara Samuels

The atmosphere inside the fairground venue buzzed with excitement as the match between Skylar Sweeney and Tamara Samuels kicked off. The audience rallied behind Skylar, their cheers creating an electric atmosphere, while Tamara played the villain perfectly, strutting and sneering as she stepped into the ring. Referee Alice Williams called for the bell, and the two competitors circled each other cautiously.

Skylar made the first move, executing a crisp Snap Dragon Suplex that sent shockwaves through the arena. The quick momentum shift had the crowd on their feet, cheering wildly for their favorite. Tamara, however, quickly regained her composure. She retaliated with a nasty, calculated knee to Skylar's midsection, showing no intention of fighting fair as she taunted the crowd and tried to sow discord with her dastardly tactics.

Biff Franklin, on commentary, exclaimed, "You can't let your guard down with Tamara! She's ruthless!" Meanwhile, Seo Hyung Kwon chimed in, providing insight, "Skylar needs to remain focused. Tamara thrives on creating chaos and exploiting any weaknesses."

The match swung back and forth, with key spots like Tamara delivering a brutal elevated double-arm DDT known as the Black Dawn, nearly securing a three-count. The near-fall sent shockwaves through Skylar's fanbase, eliciting gasps and nervous murmurs among the crowd who desperately wanted to see their hero prevail. Skylar kicked out just in time, showcasing her resilience as she fought to keep her hopes alive.

As the match progressed, Skylar rallied back with a Rolling Sole Butt that left Tamara reeling. Fueled by the crowd's support, she followed up with an Exploder Suplex, throwing Tamara hard into the turnbuckle pads. The audience erupted, chanting her name as she looked to finish the match strong.

In a stunning turn, Tamara attempted to lock in her submission move, the Over the Black Rainbow, but Skylar's agility shone through as she countered, lifting Tamara into position and smashing her down with a devastating Leaping Armbreaker. The crowd was in a frenzy, fully behind Skylar as she signaled for her finishing move.

Skylar quickly trapped Tamara into her Cattle Clutch, a "catch-style" bridge that immobilized her larger opponent's shoulders and neck. The pressure was intense, and Tamara struggled to escape, her panicked breathing echoing through the arena. With nowhere to go and the submission hold intensifying, Tamara had no choice but to tap out, relinquishing her attempt to cheat victory.

As the bell rang, Skylar's victory was met with roaring applause and cheers from the audience, celebrating her hard-fought win. The referee raised her arm in triumph, solidifying her status as a crowd favorite and emblematic of chaotic good in the ring.

Winner: Skylar Sweeney by submission with Cattle Clutch.

We flip to another scene where we find a screenshot view from the framing of a mobile phone. A Sprawling logo now appearing over the screen in Rose Gold colored glitter letters the terms “Future IT Girl TV”. The screen hovers over that for a moment, before we see the ever graceful stylings of our ballerina turned wrestler, Raya Hope Inella. She is dancing to a lyric style performance, one that is very somber and moving as she sways, before pausing, spinning into a pirouette and gracefully back down. It takes a moment before she catches view of the filming, pausing in her movements as she motions over.

Her hair is tied back tightly in a bun, the flow of her movements enhanced by her elegant nature as she pauses just in front of camera.

Raya Hope Inella: “Hello again, and welcome back to your Future IT Girl TV! Its a pleasure to be here and to see you once again, especially since this is such a riveting time for Splat Wrestling Smash! The second round of the Rising Star Tournament and probably one of the biggest match ups the company has seen thus far. Honestly, I’m not sure how we missed this being our main event, but you know we’ll pretend that Kimberly, Vesper whom I’ve beaten twice now, and Julian whom I’ve also beaten. . . are carrying more star power than myself and Poema Tua.”

There was a light laugh there.

Raya Hope Inella: “If there is anything I love in this world it is stealing the show and ensuring that everyone out there knows that the show stopped after Match Four, because Poema and I are going to make sure to leave it all out there, with nothing left.”

Raya paused.

Raya Hope Inella: “I’ve been focused on a lot of things this week when it comes to my training and performance, I do dance training because it keeps me agile and also helps with stamina and speed. Wrestling is like a dance and the winner often times is someone who can go out there and flip the momentum in their favor. I’ve been dancing all of my life, I’ve been flipping the momentum in my favor all of my life. So there is no reason I won’t be able to do that come match time.”

Raya lifts up onto her toes elegantly backing up in traditional ballet style before landing back on the bottoms of her feet and smirking.

Raya Hope Inella: “That’s not all I’ve been doing of course, there’s been weight training, swimming, gymnastics, pilates, and of course mat-based techniques. I am so serious about wanting to succeed in this match and I am giving it my all to show you that I deserve to be the very first Rising Star Champion. No one has put in the type of effort I have and I don’t care what the leaderboards or anything else has to say about it.”

She pauses crossing her arms for a moment.

Raya Hope Inella: “Of course we all know that Poema is a fierce competitor. I am taking nothing away from her, I have seen her come into this company and dominate in very much the same way that I have. She’s strong, athletic, and comes from a place that not many people know about culturally. She is for all intents and purposes a good person and a phenomenal competitor and I certainly take nothing away from her, but we’ve all seen that her performance in the last few shows has slacked, her willingness for engagement has slipped and maybe that’s been because she is focused, that she is so eager to achieve her goals that she is willing to go the distance and I take none of that away from her.”

Raya now speaks a little softer, perhaps a bit of uncertainty in her voice, almost as if she is needing to convince herself.

Raya Hope Inella: “But I want this, I have waited so long to finally get my chance to prove myself outside of the normal system that competitors from my wrestling school take. I have chosen to go my own path and prove to everyone that I actually belong here. I’ve wrestled against everyone who has been put in my path and I have beaten them one by one. I have put in the work and I have put in the time, all that matters is now is finishing what I’ve started and that’s exactly what I plan to do for Round Two of this Rising Star Tournament because I know that this is one of the greatest challenges I’ve come up against in this company, but it won’t be the last. So Poema I wish you luck, I want us to steal the show, but I promise that I will prove. Its Future IT girl time!”

She gives a peace sign to the camera before heading back to her training waving goodbye to the camera.

Match 3: Elena Douglas vs Xander Hayes

The night is electric as Elena Douglas and Xander Hayes face off in a highly anticipated singles match on this week's episode of the developmental wrestling federation. The venue—an intimate fairground arena—hums with excitement as the crowd eagerly awaits the action. Under the watchful eye of General Manager Madoka Kawada, tension builds as the two wrestlers enter the ring: Elena sneering at the audience, embodying her villainous demeanor, and Xander radiating a heroic energy that rallies the crowd behind him.

As the bell rings, Xander takes the early initiative, displaying his agility with a sequence of quick strikes and a smooth arm drag that sends Elena reeling. Biff Franklin, calling the bout, exclaims, "What fantastic speed from Xander Hayes! He’s starting strong!" Seo Hyung Kwon, on the color commentary, adds, "He’s got the crowd behind him, but Elena is never one to back down." However, Elena quickly regains her composure, using her underhanded tactics to shift momentum. After dodging a discus lariat, she rakes Xander's eyes, sending him staggering back in pain. The crowd boos, but she only smirks, feeding off their heat.

The action heats up as Elena showcases her signature moves, dropping Xander with a brutal Stump Piledriver that has the crowd gasping. She covers for a two-count, showing her ruthless cunning. But Xander's resilience shines through as he powers back, catching her off-guard with a desperate counter that leads to a near-fall after a close roll-up. The drama builds as both wrestlers trade fierce strikes in the center of the ring, with Xander just managing to avoid Elena's lethal Phoenix Down curb stomp.

Seo remarks, "Both of these rookies are pushing their limits tonight, but Xander needs to find a way to capitalize on this momentum!" The match continues to escalate, with dramatic near-falls on both sides. Elena attempts her Fallen Fury frog splash, but Xander raises his knees, leaving her to crash onto the canvas in agony. The crowd erupts, rallying behind Xander as he struggles to find his footing, finally landing his Sonic Boom discus lariat! The arena shakes as he covers her for the pin, but Elena kicks out just before the referee’s hand hits the mat three times!

With the crowd on their feet and tension at an all-time high, both wrestlers, exhausted but unwavering, exchange desperate blows. In a final push, Elena pulls out her Dragon's Clutch move, trying to force Xander to submit. Yet, showcasing his resolve, Xander fights his way to the ropes, breaking the hold much to the audience's delight. Seizing the moment, he pulls Elena into a swift and powerful Mile High Twist—his Vertical Muta Lock finisher. The hold is locked in tight as Elena struggles, but ultimately cannot escape the pressure.

With a roar of approval from the fans, Xander proves victorious as he secures the submission, and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Xander Hayes by submission with Mile High Twist.

Poema Tua; but this time around, I’m not backing down at all. Raya better be prepared for what’s about to come!

she walks away and heads for the match

Match 4: Poema Tua vs Raya Hope Inella

Ring Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, this match is one fall and is a second round match in the Rising Star Championship Tournament!

The atmosphere in the fairgrounds is electric as Poema Tua and Raya Hope Inella stand opposite each other in the ring, with excitement buzzing in the air. The referee signals for the bell, and the match begins. Poema, embodying her heroic spirit, takes the early advantage with high-energy strikes, forcing Raya to backpedal. She dazzles the crowd with her agility, executing a crisp Tropical Twist Superkick that sends shockwaves through the audience. Reya stumbles but quickly recovers, showcasing her resilience.

Seo Hyung Kwon, on commentary, provides valuable insight: "Both women are equally determined, but Poema’s crowd support could shift the advantage in her favor!"

Raya retaliates with a calculated series of strikes, catching Poema off guard. Using her experience, she performs a Code Raya, flipping Poema into a pin attempt, but it’s a mere two-count. The back-and-forth continues, with Poema executing her Island's End for a near-fall of her own. The crowd rallies behind Poema, chanting her name, fueling her momentum further.

As the match progresses, both competitors display their signature moves, each landing impressive maneuvers. Raya executes a smooth Tornado DDT, only for another thrilling near-fall. Frustrated but undeterred, she climbs the ropes, setting up for her Ray of Hope finisher, but Poema intercepts her ascent and performs a stunning overhead belly-to-belly throw to the mat.

Biff Franklin is on fire, calling the action: "What a move! Poema Tua is on fire, and you can feel the momentum shifting!" The crowd roars, and Poema, now fueled by adrenaline, finds herself on the offensive once more.

In a tension-filled moment, both competitors exchange powerful strikes, and it crescendos as Poema mounts the turnbuckle, a crowd favorite moment brewing. She signals for her finishing move—the Good Night From the Waves! The audience rises to their feet, anticipating the aerial maneuver as she leaps off the top rope, executing a perfect backflip senton that lands with a thunderous impact!

She hooks the leg for the pin, and the referee counts—one, two, three! The venue erupts in cheers as Poema’s hand is raised in victory, embodying the spirit of a true babyface.

Winner: Poema Tua by pinfall with Good Night From the Waves.

Backstage

The scene comes up backstage and Kimberly is sitting on a crate. She’s wearing her ring gear and trying to keep her focused on the match. She’s looking in the distance before the camera pans towards her face. Her baby blue eyes are looking at the camera.

Kimberly Hart: You want to know what I love about Triple threat matches? I love that there are no rules that I wouldn’t cross in order to get the win. Since I joined Splat wrestling, I have shown everyone what I can do. Inside the main event, I face both Vesper Venom

and Julian Ward. Laughs But I’m not too worried about it. You see, I already beat Julian Ward to advance into the rising star tournament and tonight I’m going to once again prove just how good I am. And Vesper Vemon is going to feel exactly what he felt last week when he lost to Raya Hope Inella.

Kimberly leans forward as she continues to look at the camera. She gives off that slight little smirk.

Kimberly Hart: You two are going to feel every ounce of pain and suffering that I can and will inflict on you. Vesper, you’re going to feel exactly what I did to Julian. But this time, with no rules, I can do much worse. Tonight, you two are going to see what I’m called the Hardcore Vixen.

She gets off the crate and giggles as she walks away as the scene fades.

Match 5: Ashley “THE MENACE” Ellis 🤳✨ vs Tyler Albright

The atmosphere in the small venue buzzed with anticipation as the camera panned over the excited crowd, setting the stage for a highly competitive singles match between Ashley “THE MENACE” Ellis 🤳✨ and Tyler Albright. Both rising stars had been drawing heat with their villainous antics, but only one could emerge victorious in this crucial showcase.

As the bell rang, Ashley, with her signature flair, strutted around the ring, soaking in the jeers and boos from the crowd. Tyler, equally stylish yet more focused, wasted no time, charging at Ashley with a sequence of wild strikes. Ashley ducked and countered with a sharp 4K Enzuigiri, catching Tyler off guard. The crowd gasped as Tyler collapsed to the mat, and Ashley quickly followed up with a series of Fit Check Kicks that had her pose for dramatic effect after each strike.

“Ashley is feeding off that crowd energy, Seo! She’s like a predator, toying with her meal!” Biff Franklin exclaimed as Ashley masked her rule-breaking ways with charisma.

Tyler, however, was not to be underestimated. She pushed through the pain, responding with a Spin Cycle, striking Ashley in the jaw and momentarily tilting the momentum. With Ashley dazed, Tyler seized the opportunity, executing a well-timed Shot In The Dark that sent Ashley crashing into the turnbuckle. The audience roared as Tyler climbed to the top rope, signaling for her finishing move, the Albright's Comet!

As Tyler soared through the air, Ashley rolled to safety at the last moment, causing Tyler to crash and burn on the mat! The crowd gasped, and Biff’s voice rose with excitement: “What a statement made by Ashley! Right when Tyler thought she had the upper hand!”

Regaining her footing, Ashley began to dominate the match again, capitalizing on Tyler’s miscalculation. Ashley executed her signature Raito Kick, striking from a selfie pose, and she taunted Tyler by whispering, “What a fail!” before covering for a near-fall. The referee’s hand slapped the mat for a count of two, but Tyler kicked out just in time, much to the audience’s delight.

As the match approached its climax, both women appeared exhausted, trading blows in the center of the ring. Tyler managed a quick Code Tyler, but Ashley deftly countered, sending Tyler staggering back. With the crowd fully engaged, Ashley decided it was time to end the contest. She positioned herself for her signature move—the De-Platformer.

With ruthless efficiency, Ashley drove Tyler's head into the mat for the cover. One! Two! Three! The referee called for the bell, confirming Ashley's victory as the arena erupted in a mix of cheers and boos.

Winner: Ashley “THE MENACE” Ellis 🤳✨ by pinfall with De-Platformer.

Match 6: Kimberly Hart vs Vesper Venom vs Julian Ward

As the bell rang to signal the start of the triple-threat match, Kimberly Hart wasted no time in asserting her dominance, charging at her opponents with reckless abandon. She delivered a ruthless shotgun dropkick, known as "Watch me," to Julian Ward, sending him crashing into the corner. Meanwhile, Vesper Venom took advantage of the chaos by delivering a sharp kick to Hart’s midsection, but Kimberly quickly countered with a rope-hung DDT, showcasing her agility and ruthlessness.

Throughout the first few minutes, the momentum swung wildly between the three competitors. Julian showed impressive quickness, retaliating against Kimberly with a series of short-arm elbow strikes, which he dubbed the “Boardroom Breaker.” Vesper retaliated with her own offense, executing a smooth figure-four leglock in an attempt to wear down the fellow competitors. Commentary from Biff Franklin noted the intensity, mentioning, “These three are giving it their all in this high-stakes contest; it's anyone's fight!”

As the match progressed, drama heightened when Kimberly found herself on the receiving end of a Venomous Kiss superkick from Vesper, nearly securing a pinfall victory at two only for Julian to break up the attempt. Following this near-fall, tensions flared as all three wrestlers began to brawl, exchanging punches and strikes in a display of raw determination. Seo Hyung Kwon chimed in, “Here you see the unpredictable nature of this match—the alliances are fleeting, and trust is nonexistent!”

Kimberly eventually regained control, cornering Vesper and hitting her signature "Nightmares are made of," a brutal rope-hung DDT that set the crowd ablaze. Just as she attempted a cover, Julian514 interrupted with a “Ward Directive,” a sudden knee strike that sent Kimberly sprawling on the mat, prompting a thrilling near-fall for Vesper, who barely managed to kick out.

As the match neared its climax, Kimberly, frustrated but determined, regrouped and plotted her next move. Spotting an opening, she trapped Vesper in another precarious position, applying a quick “Apex Crusher,” her dreaded mandible claw. Vesper struggled, but the vicious hold left her gasping, pushing her closer to the brink of submission. Meanwhile, Julian scrambled to intervene, but a swift kick from Kimberly sent him crashing to the outside, leaving her alone to secure the decisive victory.

With Vesper disoriented and fighting for breath, Kimberly seized the opportunity, lifting her opponent to deliver the "SHATTERED DREAMS," her signature spider crawl finisher into a brutal Sister Abigail-like knee strike. She covered Vesper for the count, and the referee’s hand hit the mat three times, sealing the match in Kimberly’s favor. The crowd erupted in mixed applause and jeers, fully aware of her chaotic heel persona.

Winner: Kimberly Hart by pinfall with SHATTERED DREAMS.
