They done busted Candi open...
As a stickle of blood moves down her face, Candi Bratton shakes her head as she looks up at Jansen Myrrh and it earns her another strike by the pool cue. She motions for the corner as Paul nods, pulling Candi to her feet and whipping her into the corner and running to SPLAT her against the turnbuckle.
✹ Ray Hudson ✹
We might need some help out here...
Jansen screams for Paul to do it again and he does, sending her to the other corner and charging in for another SPLAT, and this time Candi falls to the mat.
✹ Wavy Crockett ✹
Man, come on...
Myrrh moves quickly to position Candi in the ring and grabs her arms, pulling them as Paul bounces off the ropes and SPLASHES down on the prone body of Candi Bratton as the air leaves her body.
✹ Jen Vallejos ✹
It's all making my stomach hurt. We've seen enough already tonight...
Jansen holds on as Paul delivers a second splash to Candi Bratton before Jansen finally releases Bratton’s arm.
✹ Ray Hudson ✹
Candi came out here to cash in her Mile High Championship Rematch, and now...
Jansen slides out of the ring and she reaches under the ring apron and pulls out a chair. She pushes it into the ring and slides in after it.
✹ Wavy Crockett ✹
Now...maybe the past has caught up to her?
Jansen kicks the chair to the center of the ring and points to it, as Paul Banter lifts up Candi and hoists her over his shoulder. He takes a couple of steps and powerslams her onto the chair as Candi howls out in pain as Paul pushes himself off of her.
✹ Jen Vallejos ✹
Send some help out here! Come on!
Jansen grins as she walks over to the older woman and kicks at her head a couple of times with her boots, yelling, "Justice for my uncle Dandy Myrrh. Justice, you fat cow!"
✹ Jen Vallejos ✹
Please send help. We've seen enough...
Jansen moves over to grab Candi Bratton around her waist and with the help of Paul Banter, they get her up into a piledriver position right over the chair and as Paul pushes down on Candi’s legs, Jansen drops down crashing Candi’s skull into the steel chair as she piledrives the woman.
✹ Wavy Crockett ✹
Man, for real! Y'all stop this!
The “Candi!” chants get louder and louder as Jansen just sneers out into the crowd. It pushes her to set Candi Bratton up one more time for another spike piledriver, sending her once again head first onto the steel chair with the help of Paul Banter.
✹ Ray Hudson ✹
Send some help from the back!!
This time Candi isn’t moving in the ring as Jansen gets to her feet and pushes at the woman with her feet. Candi doesn’t move, as Jansen reaches down to pick up her cue stick and she motions for Paul to follow her out as “I Hope You Suffer” by AFI begins to play again.
✹ Jen Vallejos ✹
Thank God...
Jansen takes steps down to the floor and as Paul follows after her, she takes a couple of steps then stops and looks back at the ring, when she notices that Candi Bratton is starting to move.
✹ Wavy Crockett ✹
I'd like to know what's going on with all of this. I'm so confused...
A frown quickly crosses the face of the young Myrrh and she runs back to the ring, sliding under the ropes. She yells at Candi to stay down but Candi crawls to the ring ropes as her music stops playing again.
✹ Jen Vallejos ✹
Oh come on!!!
Jansen glances down to Paul, then around the ring seeing the chair. She grabs it and with a wild, crazy swing, she cracks it across the back of Candi’s skull and the Tattle Tail falls back to the mat.
✹ Ray Hudson ✹
Can we seriously send out some God damn help!!!
Jansen motions for Paul to come back into the ring and he climbs back inside, as Jansen drags Candi’s large carcass towards the corner and she takes that chair and places it over the leg of the former Mile High Champion.
The fans pop as someone starts to sprint down the aisle, and Emily Falls slides into the ring, but only long enough to get smacked by Jansen Myrrh in the back of the head with the pool stick, as Jansen yells at her to mind her own business.
✹ Ray Hudson ✹
Well... Emily Falls tried to come to the rescue...
Paul moves to the corner and hoists himself onto the second turnbuckle and flies off, splashing himself onto that chair – snapping the leg of Candi Bratton instantly, as Candi’s eyes fly open and she lets out a massive bellow and tries to move herself away from the attack. She can be heard screaming, "You broke my fucking leg! Fuck!"
✹ Wavy Crockett ✹
Ah shit!!! Her fucking leg is broke!!!
✹ Jen Vallejos ✹
I can't wait anymore...
Jansen surveys her handiwork now and seems content this time, as she finally heads out of the ring, grabbing her cue stick. She sees that Emily Falls is moving about, so she gives her another smack with that stick.
✹ Ray Hudson ✹
I've never seen anything like this... Send help, for fuck's sakes!
Jansen spies a fallen microphone and picks it up.
✹ Jansen Myrrh ✹
You’re done in this business, Candi Bratton. It’s just what you deserve.
Jansen throws down the microphone. She makes a point of stepping over Emily Falls as she exits the ring with Paul Banter in tow, as her music begins to play once more.
✹ Ray Hudson ✹
Leave, and stay away!
Jansen walks up the ramp as medical personnel scramble pass her and Paul to assist Candi Bratton.
✹ Ray Hudson ✹
It's about damn time!
As Jansen disappears through the curtain, her music stops again. Inside the ring, Candi is fitted with a neckbrace from the piledrivers, as she is placed on a board, curse words coming out of the veteran’s mouth as they slowly remove the chair from around her leg.
✹ Wavy Crockett ✹
Man, I can barely watch anymore, myself...
Emily Falls finally makes it over to check on Candi, as they begin to place a splint on her leg before moving her to a stretcher and slowly pushing her up the ramp, as the crowd once more picks up a “Candi!” chant, as she disappears through the curtain with Emily Falls following.
Jansen Myrrh
Ms. Myrrhder
Damn right I did. I probably overreacted, but hearing the story for the first time, I was angry. She was in the ring, I confronted her and I attacked her. Everytime I looked at her, I saw red so I kept attacking and finally I broke her leg. I ended her career. Am I proud of that? In hindsight, no. Not proud at all. But, that in that moment, suddenly I was no longer invisible. I had been in that company for a month and no one knew who I was. Suddenly, that crowd was chanting “Fuck you, Jansen” at me. I was someone. I can’t lie, it felt good that these people cared enough about what I’d done to chant that at me.

Inexplicably, these MHW fans had taken to Candi Bratton. She didn’t give a shit about them, but they took to her. Whether it was the fact that at 55 years old, against all odds she became the champion. Perhaps it was that she told it like she saw it and they appreciated that. I do not know. What I do know is at that moment, Jansen Myrrh went from being someone not a single fan could identify in a police line up, to the most hated person on the roster. To this day, it’s probably one of the most iconic moments in MHW history.

Next thing I know she finds some shit out about Candi Bratton, and she ends her career. I remember being so pissed. I wanted to fire Jansen Myrrh. She just ended the career of the woman who was making me the most money. But I tell you…… being a good businessman can make you a sick person. All I remember is after I was ready to let her go, I could just hear the boos filling the arena. And it was just that special heat that few people in the industry get.
